Chapter 6: Towards The End

BRIAN GOOSE'S P.O.V (point of view)

I woke up with Ian's scream of anger. Gosh! It was middle of the night! What's wrong with these people?

"Wake up you numbs! It's an emergency!" Ian shouted from the living room. I muttered under my breath and prop myself on one elbow. Slowly made my way to the living room. I saw Steve sitting on the couch with a worried expression. I furrowed.

"What's happening here? Ian I hope it's something important or I'll kill you for waking me up!" I hissed.

"You're all going to regret for not believing in me." He said, half worried about something, half cocky.

"God damn it Ian! Speak now!" Max grumbled behind me.

"Where's Alexia?" I asked, suddenly worried about her. If there's an emergency, she needs to know it too.

Ian laughed. "Sorry for disappointing you Brian but she's long gone!"

"What? Where?" Max and I said simultaneously.

"She's a rat for Gods sake! You all are fool enough to believe in her! She fooled you all!" He hissed.

"What do you mean she fooled us all?" I asked with an insecure voice. I really trusted her.

"It means Brian that 'She' infiltrated among us to be able to Kill Mr. Consenza!" He exclaimed.

"How? Why?" Max said.

" 'Cuz her parents were killed by him and after years she's now seeking for revenge!" He said as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.

"How do you know it?" This time Steve talked.

"Yes, How?" Max said.

"Did you go to Dylan?" I asked.

"Maybe yes, maybe no. Does it matter? We know that she's a real threat and now she escaped, probably she'll try to reach Mr. Consenza in another way." He said.

Then the truth hit me like ton of bricks. I really thought that she was a friend but she fooled me too. I never thought of killing her for a second whereas Ian was seizing his chances. I didn't want to do it. Why can't we just let her be? Maybe she'll left Mr. Consenza alone?

"What?! You shouldn't have gone to Dylan, Ian. You know how emotional he's. He can't deal these circumstances like we do. He should have been our last option!" Max said.

"Last? If I hadn't done it, she would have killed us and Mr. Consenza. So your welcome Max!" He snapped.

"Sorry. But you know Dylan last time he found us an information, he tried to sacrifice himself for the guy because guy was poor." Max said.

"I know but I kinda warned him."

"So, what do we do now?" I asked. Ian gave me an unfriendly look.

"Are you sure you can do anything? You really like her." He teased.

"Yes, I can. I'm working for Mr. Consenza, not her."

"OK then tough boy. We'll take action." Ian said.
