Mission: Dethroning Our Class President
A simpering smile was plastered on my face after reading what I had written. This mission was self-proclaimed, yet I couldn't help but feel enthusiastic about reaching its end. I immediately turned off my laptop and slid it into its bag. Euphoria filled me, because one thing was certain: more readers would discover my blog. I might even gain the highest rank if I succeeded in this mission. My previous blog hadn't been enough to beat Conan.
There was a furtive website for villains, accessible only to the Mercanians—the students of Merca Academy. I assumed that Baron, the creator of the website, was either my schoolmate or someone else from the academy. The site was called Moriarty's Disciple, and it was clearly designed for those capable of executing evil schemes.
Well, Merca Academy was a school for delinquent students. It was also called the "Tapunan ng mga Blacksheep." So if there was ever a chance that a Holmes Disciple existed here, no one would dare to step inside. Mercanians were never personified as peace-bringers—we were demons with our own ways of spreading wickedness.
Baron strictly prohibited his disciples—or any user—from making the website known, especially to the school's officials or authorities. To ensure loyalty, every aspiring disciple had to undergo a face-to-face interview. But it wasn't an ordinary interview—whatever happened during it had to be carried to the grave. Trying to join was like trying to escape a cage bound by millions of chains. As an aspiring disciple, one had to impress the pro-disciple by proving they could break free from that cage under watchful eyes. But once they gave up or failed, the disciple would not allow them to continue their pursuit of life in this world.
And the worst part was, once he passed the interview, everything about him would be taken—his privacy, and even his precious life. If he ever dared to break the rules and expose its existence, Baron would take his life and shatter every trace of him. Only Baron, along with the pro-disciple who conducted the interview, truly knew who we were. Of course, each disciple carried a pseudonym to conceal their real identity.
Honestly, I was never fascinated by Moriarty or anything related to manipulators, nor had I ever thought of becoming one of his disciples. I was forced into it by a former comrade. But when I discovered what awaited a disciple who reached the pinnacle of ranking, I decided to join—for one reason only: to kill that filthy creature named Conan. I had no choice but to continue this journey; I had already sold my life to the website's creator. I didn't even know if he would ever let me walk away. Joining might have been difficult, but escaping this treacherous website was utterly impossible. Still, I wasn't planning to quit...not until I fulfilled my only goal and that is to kill that fucktard user named Conan.
So what kind of business were we doing inside that website?
We were required to post blogs detailing the escapades we carried out or things we plan to execute. The more reads we gained, the higher we climbed in the rankings. If a disciple made it to the top three times, he would be rewarded by becoming the right hand of the website's creator. And being Baron's second-in-command meant absolute power. It was like a mere pawn transforming into an official piece, finally possessing the strength to move freely across the board. With that power, one could eliminate anyone on their death list. But that wasn't my ultimate goal. I needed to uncover who that bastard disciple was—and give him the sweet taste of revenge.
But before a disciple could set foot in the final stage—the one that would determine whether he became Baron's official right hand—he first had to survive the last three bloody trials. Before he could even post a blog and proudly share his schemes on the website, he needed to overcome every brutal challenge that awaited him on his journey through Moriarty's Disciple. And it was never easy. I had suffered for an entire year just to reach the position I held now.
