Quote: When a life door closes, a window opens and zombies climb through

"Yeah, like I care that his pencil broke." I thought. I looked in my desk and saw my extra pencil long and sharp. I tapped Francis shoulder, " here." I said in a disgusted tone. He took the pencil, but never said a word to me.

*Da-Da-Da!*

The school announcement was on, " SCHOOL NEEDS TO GET OUT NOW STUDENTS ARE EATING EACH OTH-
AHHHHHH!!!!" Crunch sounds came from the speaker. I heard doors slam open and people running and yelling. Me. Gamble ran out of the room and so did Francis.

I left everything at my desk and ran, I was pushed, shoved, and elbowed but it didn't stop me from running. I couldn't handle the halls filled with people, I ran into the empty art room. It was quite, and I had room to breathe. I ran towards the window I could see people running from bloody monsters, blood was everywhere.

Sudden banging came on the door, I looked through the little peak hole and saw a student keep running into the door with its mouth wide open. My eyes grew wide open it kept chomping at me. Then it turned around and walked away. I slowly walked toward the door and checked to see if the things were around our area. My hand reached toward the knob, but before I opened it I ran toward every single drawer to see if there was anything I could use to defend myself.

I found a wooden leg that comes from the part that holds the painting. It was all I had. I checked the tiny peak window again and still nobody was in the doors sight. I turned the knob and started to speed walk through the halls. Blood was everywhere, I felt as if I were to throw up.

" Where should I go, the schools front yard is probably where all the zombies are." I went down one flight of stairs and then I paused. Zombies were walking the halls, and the doors to the front yard were open. I grinned the wood piece.

" Wait! There's a emergency exit to the left, all I need to do is get pass the zombies on the left." I told myself in my head. I silently pressed myself against the left side of the wall, when I reached the last step I stopped again. I looked to the left and saw multiple zombies walking the halls.

" No!" I said. I paused I said it to loud. All of the conables came to my direction. I ran to the left without even thinking, I was hoping a plan would come in my mind once I got to the door but when I did I HAD NOTHING!!!
All of them now were feet away from me, I went to the corner and slowly crouched down and was waited for me death.

*WHAM!!!*

Zombies were being knocked to the floor and heads being smashed. After all zombies that surrounded me, were on the floor. A friendly face offered me a hand, it was a Junior I saw time to time, " Come on, we need to get out of here." I looked at him and just smiled in relief. " Okay...'''I took his hand and we started running.

Zombies kept getting in the way but we dodged and ducked, I held his hand tight. I felt safe with him by my side. We climbed up a flight of stairs and to the exit stair that goes down to the front yard. We stopped when we were half way down the stairs, " Umm... what's your name?" He said out of breath. " Oh! It's Megan," I replied," Yours?" He paused a second, " My name is Wade." We both shook hands and then we kept running.

At the end of the stairs, I didn't imagine to see who I saw, " Well, Well, Well, looky here." Said Debra, she was standing next to Francis. I looked at him and he did too, but he was the first one to look away, " Guys we don't have time for this, let's get out of here." The four of them ran through basketball courts and passed the lunch benches. Until they made it to the front gate.
