Quote: The only thing in life we fear is fear it's self and zombies. We ran with the wind blowing in our faces, running was always easy but when zombies are near you can't focus. All of a sudden rapid foot steps came from behind. Little bloody faces chased us,some had fell and got their faces smashed by other zombies and others just ran into the soccer goal. I was sweating like a dog. I could barely breathe and I could hear everyone else breathing hard, but we kept up the paste.
I looked at Wade, he was red in the face almost as red as a tomato, I looked at Jasmine and saw that her head was buried in Wade's jacket. I turned my head to Francis, he looked like he might fall of exhaustion but he kept up with us. As for me, my legs were tired and I started getting cramps.
We were about a yard away from the gate, bloody hands reached to get me, but I shoved them away and hopefully their heads got smashed. When we got to the gate I jumped up and didn't even wait for everyone else, this was a matter of life or death, but I couldn't leave them behind.
I reached the top first and I gave everyone a hand to climb over, zombies rushed up the gate. One grabbed a hold on my leg, I shook and twisted it hoping it would fly off but it kept its hold. I imagined the head as a soccer all and kicked it out on the grassy field. I hopped over the fence, Francis held the back foot open for me. I closed it shut and locked it once I got in.
Francis and I walked to the living room area and sat on the couch, Wade and Jasmin came in the room, " So?" Asked Wade taking a sit on the couch. " Well it looks like zombies don't like fast food." I said giggling, " Get it, Get it!" I started laughing out of control. Francis covered my mouth, " We get it." It was silent for a moment, my stomach growled, " I'm kinda hungry." I put my arms on my stomach.
" I could eat." Said Jasmine. The boys nodded, I got up and walked to the kitchen. I looked through drawers and cabinets and I found a couple of cans of tomato sauce. I grabbed four knives and headed into the living room. I handed everyone a can of the sauce, the guys stabbed the lids of the soup and sipped it up, " I need help." Whined Jasmine struggling to stab the cap. " Here," I said grabbing the knife. I stabbed a hole big enough for her to drink.
I could hear her sipping it up quickly, " You must be hungry." She looked at me with a smile even though her lips where on the lid, she nodded. I drank mine up and smashed the can when I was done. I collected the cans and threw them in the trash. " I'm gonna hit the hay." Yawned Francis. " Me too." Wade said. " Me three." Jasmine spoke rubbing her eyes.
They all climbed up the stairs, Wade and Jasmine shared the king size room and Francis took the farthest room from the stairs. I couldn't even close one eye without thinking of the zombies that could attack at any moment. I gave up on trying to go to sleep, I walked to the kitchen and turned off the lights to give no attention to us.
Just before I walked out I heard a yell, " WHAT THE?!" Came from Francis room. I looked around the kitchen and found a frying pan, " It will have to do." I thought. I carried the pan up the stairs and into the farthest room. I swung open the door, I saw a zombies body on the floor and a smashed head on the carpet.
I know nothing epic happened but I really didn't want to rush the book, so I thought it would be better to add something like this in. Bye!
