Humans vs. Zombies [ Book One ]

Chapter Six

My eyes grew wide and I covered my mouth with my hands, the horror, " Are you okay?" I said trying to act as calm as can be. Wade and Jasmine walked in, " Yeah I'm fine this Fu-" Started Francis he looked at Jasmine, "Fudging zombie hid in the closet the whole time."

We were all had an awkward silence for a few moments, BANG BANG BANG!!!!! All our heads turned, it was the door downstairs, " Everyone get a weapon, Jasmine grab this baseball bat, Francis have the hockey stick, and for Megan you get..., a frying pan?" Spoke Wade. " Yup." I responded. He shrugged, " Okay." " What do we do, the stupid zombies are. blocking the doors on the first floor. There's no exit." Commented Francis. " We could always get out from the window." Pointed out Jasmine. We all nodded.

I locked the bedroom door, and went to the window. Francis unlocked the window, Wade grabbed Jasmine and looked where to jump, " There's no way to jump that I can reach."

* CRASH!!!!!!*

The front door broke and I was assuming zombies spilled in, " GO ON THE ROOF!" Ordered Francis. Wade and Jasmine climbed the roof of bricks and up to the top. Francis handed out his hand to me, I grabbed it and hopped onto the roof. Francis took after me, we closed to window hoping it would stop the zombies getting to the roof.

When I reached to where Wade and Jasmine my mouth dropped open, " No freaking way..." I breathed. The streets were filled with zombies, it was like a zombie parade.

* CRASH!!!!*

The bedroom door was knocked to the floor. Zombies started banging on the window trying to break it down. Jasmine jumped to her brother, " I-I'm scared." She cried digging her face in his flannel. Wade picked up Jasmine, " I will not let anything happen to you, pinkie promise." Jasmine took her pinkie and squeezed it with Wade's. " I trust you." Jasmine said with tears in her eyes.

I felt as if I was to cry, the brother and sister bound was so sweet. It was sad that it was the zombie apocalypse. Francis went to check out what was going on, he was bending down staring at the zombies checking out their next move.

BANG BANG CRASH!!!!

The window broke, glass was on the roof and zombies arms were reaching for Francis legs. Francis backed away gripping his hockey stick, " Let's go!" Cried Francis. " There's no way though!" I screamed. Wane rushed to the end of the house, " There's vines here, and zombie free zone!" We all had smiles spread across are face just for a few seconds till zombies started climbing on the roof.

I started waving my arms toward the side of the roof, everyone rushed to them edge and started to climb down. I ordered Wane to go first, then I helped Jasmine onto the vines to make sure she doesn't fall. Francis went next, he reached the floor and I started climbing down. I had my hand still on the roofs edge... ARGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!

   A zombie comes out and is trying to bite me, then it tried biting my hand! I was struggling," Do I let go or let my friends see me as the dead?" I thought but we know which one was better.

   I let go and I began to fall, my hair was in my face and I just closed my eyes. Suddenly, I stopped falling. I open my eyes and see Francis holding me, " Are you okay?" Francis asked putting me back on my feet. " Y-Yes." I replied with my face burning red.

    He gave me a grin and turned away, Wane came walking up with Jasmine and we started walking.
