chapter 6- i am not a carrot!

Avery's P.O.V

I felt myself wake up, but I couldn't open my eyes, I tried to open my mouth but it wouldn't open!!! was I paralyzed? I started panicking, begging my body to move yet it wouldn't. Why couldn't i move? I tried to talk to my wolf, yet she was asleep in the back of my mind... was I dead?

I couldn't remember how I got here.... where was I?

I felt myself going numb, and I slipped back into darkness.

"she's like a vegetable, hopefully she isn't brain dead" a quiet voice said, I had just regained conciseness yet I still couldn't open my eyes, I could hear pieces of a conversation.

"Turn her life support off after 1 week if she doesn't recover" someone said, a doctor I presumed.

"I WILL NOT LIVE WITHOUT HER..... SHE'S MY MATE" i heard my precious mate Aaron shout, it broke my heart hearing him like that... I just wanted to wake up!

I felt soft footsteps hurry out the room.

" why doesn't she recover like a wolf" Aaron said sadly.

"I had an accident when I was in a rogue battle when I was 16, we had to get a human to have a baby with my husbands sperm then inject my wolf DNA into her...." A feminine voice whimpered

I was shocked, my mother didn't conceive me? I wasn't a real wolf then!!!

"we had a feeling that she wasn't pure wolf, she didn't morph until she was 13" a gruff voice said "we read a prophecy....."

I started to slip into darkness, but I battled with myself to stay awake.

"pure white wolf... not conceived naturally,,, special powers... alphas child, full mating program" the words started to jumble together as my mind became foggy

"she doesn't know"

I felt my mate grasp my hand

"please please please wake up Avery, I need you.... our whole pack needs you" he whispered painfully into my ear.

I will wake up... eventually! I will survive! I thought as I disappeared into the depths of my mind.

Aarons P.O.V

2 weeks later

I am really sorry Mr Sky, but we can't keep her here any longer... she's not going to wake up" A doctor said, shaking nervously.

"No no no NO! she will wake up! she is my mate... I need her" I whimpered

"I really am sorry, but the doctor switching the life support off will be in here in half an hour" The doctor said bravely before leaving the room.

Avery's parents came in with a determined look on their faces.

"She is not going to die" My Starr growled menacingly

"All we have been doing all week is waiting for her to die... we just have to believe in her and she will live!" Avery's mom said bravely.

I stared at them in shock... Avery's life support was going off in 20 mins yet they were saying they just had to believe in her... were they crazy?

"she's a vegetable now... she isn't going to live." I said bluntly, sadness overcoming me.

I felt a light tapping on my shoulder and turned round slowly to the bed before meeting the most beautiful girl I had ever seen... her eyes were a bright red and as she looked at me angrily she said "I AM NOT A CARROT" wow that girl is feisty.

"y-you're alive" i smiled, giving her a bone crushing hug, she relaxed under my touch but then suddenly pushed me away roughly.

"don't touch me.... you didn't believe in me" she whimpered before getting out of the bed and going over the her parents, she touched their shoulders and sprinted out of the room.

"looks like the magic's already happening" the lunar said before touching her shoulder sadly.

I ran out the room after my precious mate... I wasn't loosing her just after all we had been through.

Avery's P.O.V

as I sprinted out the room anger overtook me, how dare my mate just think I was going to die... just like that! He didn't even care.

I sprinted into the forest nearby and morphed into my wolf, she hadn't had a run for weeks, how long had i been in the hospital?

As my wolf growled in pleasure as she stretched out her weary limbs, I allowed her to take control just for once...

I ran of my anger, which then turned into guilt, I had known my mate little over a week, yet I had still ran away from him after he had almost lost me... what about my parents?! I turned myself around and headed slowly back towards the hospital, hoping they were still there..

A/N merry Christmas everyone! As a present from me, I decided to update today! hope everyone had a good day!

Oh and yeah I know this chapter was crap I took hours writing this one cus I had to redo it :/
