Chapter 4- Our date

I looked into the floor length mirror and glanced at my stunning reflection, I was wearing a floor length, silver sparkly, strapless dress with a slit up to my thigh, it looked sexy yet Gorgeous! My blonde hair was curled to perfection, into loose ringlets that went down to my waist.I had lipgloss, mascara and eyeliner on my flawless face. I felt beautiful. Someone knocked on my door, as I walked towards it I realised it was Aaron.... His scent was driving my wolf crazy! I swung open the door and his mouth literally fell open. He was looking nice tonight, with simple back jeans and a shirt and tie and his black hair was spiked up effortlessly.

"Hi" he murmured swooping in for a hug, "your looking beautiful tonight"

"Thank you" I whispered, cupping his face and bringing it down to my lips, sweetly kissing him. My mate breathed shallowly, inhaling my scent. Did I drive him that mad?

"I like your mark" he whispered, delicately kissing it, I gasped... I had completely forgotten about it! I ran to my hallway mirror and looked at my neck, it was beautiful! there was a simple white moon with two wolfs surrounding it, there was a white wolf to the left and a black wolf to the right! I didn't know wolves could have coloured marks! it was obviously mine and Aaron's wolves.... but why was mine so special? apart from the fact that I was future lunar of the pack...

"It's beautiful" I gasped, touching it... I couldn't wait to show my parents later on tonight, they were at the pack house right now, they spent a lot of time there but I couldn't stand it! so I stayed at our house which was a mere mile away.

Aaron grabbed my hand and pulled me towards his red sports car, I wasn't good with cars... all I knew was that it looked very expensive. My hand tingled just from his grasp.

He opened the passenger door for me and I gracefully stepped inside, I was wearing red stilettos, I was trying to keep balance, it was very hard work.

Aaron slammed the door and walked round to his side, he opened the door and climbed in, a mysterious and very sexy smile on his face.

After a few minutes of driving, we got to the roundabout that would lead off to the pack mansion, yet Aaron took a different road!

"Where are you taking me?" I asked

"secret" he simply chuckled, i hated secrets.

"but what about the pack dinner?" i asked, confused.

"it's all sorted out" he winked, i started panicking, my mother and father would kill me!

"please!!!!! Aaron im going to get into trouble they might take my role away!" i begged. Aaron noticed my flustered state and caressed my face with his free hand.

"that was a set up, my dear. The pack meeting is tomorrow, today we are going on our first date" he whispered

i was speechless, wow....

"Tell me where we are going" i said, crossing my arms.

"No"

I whined... "pleeaassee? I hate secrets"

Aaron chuckled,

"I can't tell you sweetie, it'll ruin the surprise!" he cooed, grabbing my chin and kissing me daintily on the lips, making me giggle.

"Avery... darliing? wake up!" Aaron shouted in my ear, waking me up, I lazily sat up and stretched, smiling at my mate.

"Where are we?" I asked sleepily, carefully rubbing my eyes so I wouldn't ruin my makeup.

"The beach" Aaron simply replied...

I squealed, this was my favourite place! and the fact that it was 8:00Pm and it was dark made it even more exciting, I didn't care that I was cold... the sea was beautiful! it was sparking from the full, beautiful moon.

I took off my stupid red heels and threw them simply to the ground, no one was here.

"Why didn't you tell me I needed a swimming costume?" I pouted..

"Well.... you could improvise....?" Aaron said cheekily, kicking off his shoes and jeans, underneath were a pair of shorts!

"Meanie" I scowled... oh well! I pulled my dress over my head and ran towards the water, laughing the whole way.

Aaron P.O.V

I watched my beautiful mate splash in the ice cold, clear blue water. She was wearing a simple red bra and black thongs! Now I wasn't expecting Avery to be a thong kinda girl... Her beautiful blonde hair was down and the loose curls had unraveled from the water. I got tired of watching her and ran to join in. I scooped her up, making her squeal then kissed her passionately on her lips.

"I love you" Avery whispered, looking me dead in the eye... it was the first time she had said it.

"I love you too" I said quietly...

"Don't hate me for this" I whispered into her ear, making confusion cross her face then shock as I dropped her into the ice cold water.

We spent most of the night under the beautiful sky, messing around and acting like best friends as well as mates, that's one of the countless things I love about Avery, we could hold a serious conversation as well as fool around like a couple.

I walked slowly to the car with a sleeping Avery in my arms, she had fallen asleep in my arms under the stars. I kissed Avery's head and placed her into her front seat. It was time to go home, I wondered what she had said to her parents about our date tonight, what time did she tell them we'd be home? it was past midnight by now.

Avery's P.O.V

I groaned tiredly, I was in Aaron's car still and he was driving along the motorway, 5 minutes away from the house.

"Hi babe" Aaron smiled, grabbing my hand and kissing it, I smiled back and greeted him, I felt so happy! suddenly there was a loud horn coming from in front of us, all I could see was a red lorry flip over and I heard a crunch as it rolled straight onto the car, crushing us.

I instantly went into blackness, barely hearing Aaron's cries as he gripped my hand, begging me to hold on. a stabbing pain was in my back and my leg. I skipped into darkness...
