"I'm so sorry Demi. I can't even imagine how you feel. You know my family they do get on my nerves, but I don't know what I would if I lost one. Not sure that I could carry on like you did. I'd be so lost and depressed, without them. Well, I know this may sound like I'm a mama's boy. But I would be so up set if anything happened to her. I'm pretty close to her. She may rag on me sometimes but I know that she loves, as do the rest of my family. I know too, that your family loved you. I mean, how could they not. You are a very nice young woman. You light up a room with that beautiful smile of yours. You have most wonderful laugh that I ever heard. You can make people laugh, and you are outgoing. You are such a strong young woman. I don't see how you could smile, like you do after everything has happened to you. " He said.

"Thanks Joe."She said, as she pulled back from him. "I think that it just hit me that, I won't see them any more. After, I woke up I spent a few weeks with my uncle and his family, in Texas. That's where my family use to live. My uncle took care of everything. Then I came here to finish my last year of college. I've been here since then. I didn't go home over Thanksgiving, Christmas or spring break. I just stayed on the Campus. Trust me, I didn't smile for a long time or laugh. This laughing and smile, is a recent thing. Maybe about the last 3 months or so. I was just making it through some how. If it wasn't for my friends. I may have not been here. I was pretty depressed. They call it survivor's guilt. I felt, bad cause I made it but my family didn't. I fell into a dark place. I began to hurt myself. "She said, as she showed him her wrists.

Stay Strong, was tattooed, on them now. Joe, eyes got big. He did something that surprised him and her. He took her wrists in his hand. Then he kissed both of her wrists gently. Her breath got caught in her throat. He smiled at her as she smiled at him. He let go of her wrists. She felt sad, as he let go of her wrists.

" So, now I have been getting to my old self. I'm almost done with college. I don't know what to do. My uncle wants me to go live with them for a bit. I'm just so confused, scared and I feel lonely. I don't think it just set in till, now that I won't see my.....my.....family ever again. Then talking you made me think about them. I try to keep myself busy. Since they died, I took all the hard classes. Just so I wouldn't have to think about them. I join all this clubs. I'm always doing something. But, Now I'm slowing down cause I'm almost done with school. My friends, Miley and Selena went out with their boys friends tonight. Me, I don't have one. My friend Nick he told me about his family's restaurant. So, I just came here to get some food."

Joe smiled, then he frown. Demi saw him and she shook her head at him. "Oh, he's so dead. I'm gonna kill him. " Joe said. "Excuse me?" She said, as she moved away from him. His eyes when wide. "Wait, sorry about that out burst. My brother is Nick Jonas. He said, as her eyes when wide too. She began to laugh. "Oh, so that would make you the slacker. The ladies man. I totally didn't connect you and Nick. I mean, it just didn't dawn on me that you were his brother. You did say your last name. I just don't know what I was thinking. Jonas. "She said, as he frowned again. She laughed again. He cracked a smile, as he shook his head. "Nick he lied to my parents. He told them that he had to study. My parents were like Nick said, he had to study so you're closing. It is his weekend to close, but they made me. Now, I'm gonna really kill him. He is out with Miley, I can't believe him. He's such a butt head. Telling complete strangers that I'm a slacker. I am trying to find a job. I mean I do have one now. But, I don't want people to think that just because my parents are well off that. I'm going to work for them. Not that I don't mind it. I just want something more. You know."

"I see. Well, I'm not sure myself what I will do yet. I know that I don't really want to go back to Texas. Too, many painful memories. I'll talk to them. Any ways thank you again. Joe you really are a great guy. I'm so glad to have met you. Please don't kill Nick. I know that you aren't all that bad. If, you were you would have sent me away. You wouldn't have listen to me cry or comfort me as you did. Like I said earlier you are the sweetest guy, I ever met." She said, as he got up. She got up too. "Well, you are welcome Dem. I'm so glad to have met you. Remind me one day to thank Nick. Other wise, I might have never met you. Since it would have been his weekend to work." He said.
