First Dance

DREW'S POV
-Sixth Grade-
I roam my eyes around the room.Where the hell is my best friend? She should be here by now.Yes my best friend is a "She" .Actually I have two best friends one is Darren Cruz and the other--

"Miss Elizabeth Lopez!You're 14 minutes late!" 

Oo siya nga!Siya si Elizabeth Lopez,my girl best friend.

I tried to suppressed my smile when I saw her scratch her already messy hair.
" Eh?Kasi ma'am na-flat ang gulong ng tricycle" she said.I tried looking at the opposite direction. I know her too well.I know that she's trying hard to stop herself from grinning.

"kay,sit down" our teacher said calmly.

I searched for her in our room.I smiled when our eyes met. She gave me a naughty wink and I gave her a smile before looking at our teacher.

"Today we will be dancing waltz with a twist" She smiled "Now,find your partners in the count of 1..2.."

Tatayo na sana ako para puntahan si elizabeth---

"3...4..5"

"Tayo partners drew!" Nakangiting sabi sa akin ni sky sabay hila sa akin sa gitna ng room.

Si Sky ang Class muse namin.Ako naman ang Class escort.

Binigyan ko lang siya ng pilit na ngiti. Hindi naman pwede na tanggihan ko siya.Nakakahiya naman.

"Okay,class.Sasayaw tayo ng waltz pero once I say stop! Ibig sabihin un you'll change your partners . understand?"

Lahat naman kami nag-agree.

I hold sky's other hand. Tapos ang isang kamay ko ay pinatong niya sa shoulder ko ang isang kamay ko naman nasa bewang niya.

Lihim akong napabuntong-hininga.

"Let's start.Step..close..step" Nagsimula kaming magsayaw.

"Nasaan siya?"

"Drew alam mo ba--blaah blahh" I  don't really care about what sky is saying I'm busy looking for Elizabeth.

"Step close step..Point..step..close step"

I finally saw her. She's dancing with darren. Hindi ko maiwasan ang mapa-kunot noo. Darren is whispering something in her ears and she is blushing -_-

"Stop!" Agad ko naman binitawan si Sky at tumakbo papunta sa kanya.Hinapit ko siya sa bewang ng makita ko na papalapit ang isang classmate ko sa kanya.

"Whew!" Sabi ko.I'm staring at her and she looked shocked.I smiled and she blushed.

"Step close step"

I pulled her closer to me.

"You're blushing kaouro" I whispered.

I can feel the rapid beating of her heart.

"Nagulat ako dun kenshin" She said shyly.

That's how I call her. The two of us are obsessed with an anime named " Samurai X" Kaya ang tawag ko sa kanya kaouro(yung bidang babae) tapos kenshin naman tawag niya sa akin(yung bidang lalake)

"Obvious nga" Sabi ko.

We continued dancing as if we're  lost in our own world.
My heart is beating too fast . That's when I realized that I love her.I never felt this kind of happiness and contentment except when I'm with her.

Then we heard the bell rang.
