Chapter 41

Lilly's POV

I take a deep breath and slowly open my eyes, I look around my room for sec

"Morning"

I turn to see Grayson right next to me, scaring at me "we're you watching me sleep?" I asked

"Yeah, I didn't want wake you" he says
"You want breakfast, Cause I smell breakfast" I say

"They're gonna ask about the marks on our face" he says

"Just Follow my lead" I say

I get up and stretch, I turn around and Grayson is putting on his shirt on, I couldn't help but stare

"You ready?" He asked

"Let's go" I say

We walked out my room and down the hallway, and downstairs

I take a deep breath and look to Grayson, he nods

We walk into the kitchen, their all sitting and walking having small talk then Cameron spotted us

"Oh. My.God!" She says

Everybody looked up at us, and they all had the same facial expressions

Ethan walked up to me "Who did this to you?" He asked his jaw tense

"It doesn't matter, we're fine" I say

"You don't look fine" Lisa says

"Just tell me, who did this to you" Ethan demanded

"No, we're fine, we're walking and talking perfectly fine" I say

"Grayson hasn't said a word" my dad stands in front of him

I look at Grayson, he looks guilty

"We're Fine" he says quietly

"See, We're Fine, Can we just eat some breakfast and talk about the wedding" I say

"Okay" my dad nodded, we all sit around the kitchen island

I start making my plate of food

"After Breakfast we're are going start packing, so we go to the hotel tonight since the wedding is next week, Lilly, you need to stop by the school to pick some homework so you can catch up, but other then that, the hotel have the venue set up already, I think that's all" Lisa says

"About Rooming, Cameron and Lilly are Roommates, Grayson and Ethan will be roommates , you guys can visit each other but you must be in your room at 8:00 on the dot, and bedtime is 9:00 , Lisa and I will be checking on you guys" my dad says

I look at Grayson, and his looking down at the table

"Are you gonna eat Grayson?" I asked him

"No, I'm not really hungry" he says  getting up and going upstairs

I took one last bite of my bacon, before following him upstairs

"Grayson Wait!" I say

He doesn't listen, he walks into his room, I hurried and stopped him from closing the door

I walk in his room, and close the door behind me "What's Wrong?" I asked

"The other night I heard, you and ethan talking, he warned you about the people I hang out with, I wish you would of listen to him, I wish I never invited you" he says looking down

"Grayson, stop being so hard on yourself, its not your fault, you didn't know this would happen" I say

"But I knew that their bad people, the type of people that your parent warn you about or tell you not to hand out with" he says sitting on his bed

"What if you didn't storm into that room?" I asked getting on my knees in front of him

"Bad things would've happened" he says

"Exactly, but because you did, I'm perfectly fine" I say

"But he slapped you, if I would of came quicker, you wouldn't have a bruise on your face" he says looking down putting his face in his hands

I sigh

I take his hands away from his face, his crying, I walk on my knees to get closer to him, I pull him into a hug. He immediately hugged back

I pulled away after a few seconds "there's no reason for you to be mad at yourself, you did what could do, be happy that we're both safe". I say

He pulls me into a another hug, we pulled away, he's wiping his tears away

"I think you should lay down for a bit" I say

He nods in agreement

I kissed his forehead, before letting him go, he lays down looking down

I walk out his room, closing the door behind me, and I walk into my room
