You can't go back

Chapter 2

"Mom you did what?!?!" Natalie screamed. "I got a boyfriend" mom said sounding kind of guilty. "Dad, what about dad? I thought you loved him" Luke yelled. "He's been gone for some years now, I need to move on." Natalie walked out the house and I heard her start the car, I hope she comes back. Luke stomped upstairs and slammed the door. Emily and Steven went downstairs to play and I went upstairs to start my homework. I want my mom to be happy but I don't think this is the right time for someone new coming into our lives.

*3:00 am*

I heard the garage door open and I immediately ran downstairs. It was Natalie, but she was drunk and had some guy I'd never seen before with her. "Natalie, what the heck are you doing?!?!" I whispered yelled. "Nothing lil sis, go back to bed" she said while trying to climb the stairs. "I'm getting mom" "NO!!" She yelled. "Shut up Natalie" I whisper yelled. "I'll be fine, just don't get mom" she pleaded "fine, one question, who's the guy?" I asked with no answer. "Whatever, you can get pregnant but remember I tried to help you." With that she and that guy went upstairs, I heard nothing after that, but I swear I heard moaning coming from her room.

*Morning*

When I woke up I went to see if Natalie and that guy were still here or not, they were. I got dressed hoping they would wake up and be gone by the time I got dressed, they weren't. I quietly went into her room to wake them up. "Natalie, wake up!!" I screamed. She quickly got up. "Why are you yelling?" She asked annoyed. "Because mom will be here any second and I'm trying to save you from her rath." "Go away, my head is killing me." I slammed the door and left. "Why did you slam Natalie's door?" My mom asked as soon as I came down the stairs. "It was open and I saw a bug." I said while grabbing my backpack and heading towards the car.

*At School*

I told Rebecca what happened and she told me I should just be happy for my mom and be more open to her new boyfriend. I know my dad would be happy for her but it's a lot of change that I'm not looking forward to. What if this guy hurts us or my mom, I don't wanna be like that but it could happen.

*At Home*

As soon as I got home I ran straight to the refrigerator to get some yogurt and peach tea. I got on my phone and realized I had gotten 10 thousand more followers on musical.ly and Instagram. Yay. I decided to see if anyone was on YouNow, and a bunch of different people were, but someone who caught my eye was Jacob Sartorious. I watched his YouNow and as soon as my name popped up his eyes flickered down to my username and he started blushing. After about ten minutes of watching I logged off and went upstairs to watch Netflix.

*9:30*

While I was watching Netflix my phone lit up with a snapchat notification, I unlocked my phone and it was from Jacob Sartorious.

Jacobvines: Hey skylar

Skylarcoff16: Um hey, How do u know who I am?

Jacobvines: Oh, I follow u on most of ur social medias

Skylarcoff16: Cool, I had no idea

Jacobvines: I'm secretive like that😏

Skylarcoff16: 😂😂 ur cute

Jacobvines: So are u💕

Skylarcoff16: Thanks, but I gtg, date with Netflix 

Jacobvines: Of course, what else would a teenage girl be doing?? Well night  Skye

Skylarcoff16:  lol Night Jacob

I never would've thought that Jacob Sartorious would snapchat me let alone call me cute. But I can't like him, I like Cole and he likes me too plus we're over three thousand miles apart. I shouldn't stress about this, I think I just need some sleep.
