You can't go back

Chapter 3

I woke up not thinking about what happened last night, well until now. I can't believe THE Jacob Sartorious called me cute, but I like Cole, I really really like Cole. I just really want to forget about this, it's not like he's gonna talk to me again so it doesn't even matter. I know it's not a big deal or anything, I bet he calls every girl cute anyways. 

I ran into the bathroom before Emily could. That girl might just be a little kid but man does she take FOREVER in the bathroom. Maybe if mom marries her new boyfriend we can move and I can finally get my own bathroom since I'm about to turn 14. Almost all of my friends have their own bathrooms and they are so lucky. 

I put on a burgundy shirt with a beige circle scarf and some jeans with closed holes, oh and we can't forget the typical white converse. I ran downstairs to make some Eggo waffles and mom made us smoothies to go. Life hasn't been the best because Natalie and mom have been having some heated "disagreements" lately. Everything is kinda crazy at home so school and social media have really been my escape. 

*At School* 

I walked into school and was greeted by Cole. He walked with me to my locker and helped me put my stuff away. +10 brownie points for Cole😏. He somewhat helped me get my mind off of the Jacob thing, but it was still in the back of my head. I decided to go to the courtyard before school started. Cole went with me. We just talked and got to know each other better.

Cole: How did you get so many followers ?

ME: I don't know

Cole: Oh come on, you can tell me. I won't tell anyone 

ME: Well I kinda just threw myself into my phone after my dad. I just started posting a lot of videos and pictures and I guess people just really liked them. 

Cole: That's really cool, I wish I was as famous as you.

ME: You think I'm famous? 

Cole: Cause you are...

Ringgggg

The bell rang so Cole and I headed to our classes. What he said had me thinking. I know I have a lot of followers, but I'm not "famous." I wonder if people truly think I'm famous. 

While I was in science, I heard my phone buzz and I saw I had a Snapchat notification from Jacob again. I was visibly shocked because Matt texted the group chat asking why my jaw actually dropped. Of course Rebecca replied saying "I bet it had to do with Cole lol." I just put my phone down and glared at Matt from across the room. 

I had only been thinking of Cole because of our talk earlier, but that quickly left my mind after the Snapchat I got from Jacob. 

*After School*

Leah texted the group chat and told us that we "had" to meet at our spot in two hours. We all replied and said we would meet there. Carter asked me if I wanted to go with him to our spot and I said sure. I texted my mom to make sure it was okay and she said it was. His mom picked us up and we went to their house. We quickly did our homework then played video games for about thirty minutes. Mrs. Winn asked us if we were ready to go and we replied with eager nods. 

By the time we left the sun was starting to set, but it didn't matter because it was a Friday night. As Carter and I were saying goodbye to his mom, Rebecca and Matt were walking up to our spot. Our spot was special to us. It was cool and hidden. No one knew it about it except us, our parents didn't really know about it either. We found it during the summer going to sixth grade. I can't really say much about it so those are the only details I'll disclose. 

We all got some milkshakes before going to our actual spot. We got there and it was so beautiful, it felt like forever since we all had been there. We sat down and aimlessly talked. After 15 minutes Leah stood up and started talking. 

Leah: Soooo I obviously called you guys here for a reason.

Carter: Well yes

Rebecca: WHY?

Leah: Okay, well you all know how we love Disney? But never ever go?

ME: Yeah....

Matt: Spit it out or I'll throw my milkshake on you.

Leah: Okay that was rude, but my mom got us ALL tickets to go next weekend!!!

After Leah told us the news, we were all so excited. We all loved Disney ever since we were little. That's actually where I met Rebecca. It was two years ago when we first moved out here, my mom thought it was a good idea to go to Disney to get us excited about moving. Rebecca and I were both waiting in line for the Matterhorn and she really liked my shoes so we decided to go on the ride together and the rest is really history. We hung out for about 30 more minutes then it was time for all of us to go home. My mom picked me up and then we headed home. 

It wasn't that late, but I decided to get ready for bed. I took a shower and washed my hair then I put on some pajamas.  I was gonna put on a movie, but I forgot I hadn't told my mom the exciting news! I ran downstairs to find her, she was sitting on the couch with her laptop. I jumped on the couch and started rambling about Disney. She didn't seem that surprised while I was telling her about it. 

Mom: Honey, you realize Rebecca's mom told all of us the plan first right? 

ME: well now I do

Mom: Well I hope you have fun, you can sleepover at Rebecca's too if you would like 

ME: Of course I would!!

Everything was going pretty well. School was fine, my friends were amazing, and home life was okay. My social medias were kinda blowing up at this point and it was pretty cool. I still hadn't open the Snapchat from Jacob, but he sent it HOURS ago so I kinda didn't want to. I went back upstairs and put on a movie. A few minutes into the movie I got another Snapchat from Jacob. I decided I would open it this time. He just sent me a picture saying "gm" and the second one was him saying "are you ignoring me? lol". I sent him a snap back reassuring him that I wasn't ignoring him. We ended up talking until I fell asleep.
