[A/N: I'm sorry because I wasn't able to update this yesterday. I was busy and getting ready for Christmas vacation. So here's the update anyway. Jake has a POV here! Enjoy! :)]

‧‧‧‧‧‧‧‧‧‧‧‧Jessica's POV‧‧‧‧‧‧‧‧‧‧‧‧
To say that I was utterly horrified would be probably be the biggest understatement of this night. This had to be some prank or what. I can't do this! I thought, panicking.
"You okay?" Gerald asked me. I gaped at him. He expects me to be okay?! What the hell. I just shook my head before something offensive escapes my mouth.
"What's with the expression, Jess? It's priceless." Jake stated, smirking at me and laughing. CRAP. How could this guy be laughing after what he just read?! Shouldn't he be freaking out like I was? Shouldn't he be having the same unfixed expression as mine?!
"It's horrifying." I faced Gerald. "Please tell me this is a prank or something. PLEASE." I desperately told him. Or at least, I sounded desperate.
"What? Why? Got any problem with Jake? I think he'll be a nice guy to you." Gerald told me.
"He isn't." I whispered. He's WAY too far from who you think he is. Of course nobody heard that. Not even these two heard what I just murmured to myself awhile ago.
"Yeah, Jess. Got any problem with me? The last time I checked, the both of us were doing fine." Jake said, smiling playfully.
What do I do now? Should I tell him that I do have a problem with him? But what would I say? Ugh. How confusing. I hated this.
"What's the matter? Cat got your tongue?" Jake asked, stifling his laugh. Somebody hand me a fork. I wanna stab this guy. Right now.
"Everything's the matter." I just replied, annoyed. "Especially you and this crappy dare."
"You're saying you won't take it, then? Whoa. What a break for your title. Whatever happened to the reckless you?" Gerald asked me, his eyebrows raising.
"Probably scared that she'll fall in love with me if she says yes to this." Jake smirked at me again.
"Scared your face!" I shouted, my cheeks burning up. He thinks so highly of himself! Ugh.
"Hey, everybody's waiting. Are you gonna take it or leave it?" Gerald questioned us, looking at everyone, then back at us.
Jake looked at me in the eye playfully and then he smiled evilly. "I'll take it." he said without any hint of hesitation.
I stared at Jake and gaped at him, my eyes nearly popping out of their sockets as I heard him answer confidently. Is he serious?!
"What about you, Jess?" Gerald asked.
"TAKE IT, TAKE IT, TAKE IT." The people around us chanted. What the fudge? Don't they know what's really happening? Don't they know why I can't take that deal?!
Of course they don't, you idiot. My mind whispered to me. None of them knew what really happened between you and Jake before.
But I wasn't going to give up easily on this. I won't risk my reputation just for this shitty dare. Ugh. Face it, Jess. I told myself. All you have to do is to NOT take this seriously. You'll be fine.
