I can already feel the London air even though we’re still at the airport waiting for our flight. The cheery vibe at that moment was bearable and all of us can’t wait to face the English people or if lucky . . . One Direction.
Thirty more minutes before our flight and Ariella is nowhere in the heck of a large airport. I am growing more worried every time a minute subtracts from the time we depart. “Ariella.” I mumbled to myself, “Where on Earth are you?” I turned heads almost everywhere and still not a shadow of her could be seen.
“Surprise, Abigaile Borjal!” She shouts from the back making me jump.
“Oh my gosh, Ariella you could give someone a heart attack doing that. What took you so long?”
“I had to say goodbye to my Mom and Dad?”
“Okay.” I guess I was too excited to relax.
I sat on the seat once again, and logged on to twitter, tweeting, “London, here we come!” which brought people replying to me whether we are going to meet One Direction or not, and if yes, I should tell them to follow these people. Yes, I have a fan account for the boys.
A voice so soft suddenly beamed across the area, “Flight 126, Philippines to London,” which brought us all to our feet tagging our bags along to the area. I sighed a little because keeping calm would be the last thing on the list right now.
“Are you okay?” Ariella asks, making me furrow my eyebrows in confusion, “Of course, I’m fine.”
“You look like going to pass out.” She let out a chuckle. I laughed back with a stern, “Ha-ha.”
It didn’t take much time when we checked in and got to our seats, rubbing my hands against each other, I look back outside to see Philippines once more, because I know before we realize it we’ll be landing in London once more.
I texted my Mom typing, “The planes almost starting na mah.”
“Please turn off your phones or switch it to airplane mode. We will now depart.” A stewardess command just right after I clicked send. I followed as soon as she said so.
I take time to adjust to a so new environment today and for the coming time. Laying my back against the chair, I start to search for some good movies to watch. After shifting for minutes I finally chose “Just Go with it” starred by Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston. I decided to have a good laugh today by watching this movie.
“That looks like a nice movie, I want to watch it either.” Ariella says and fiddles with the small screen and clicks the same movie. “Wait, I’ll just check on my things.” Then she rummaged through her bag, so much that her comb fell down. We almost bumped heads when we both attempted to pick it up. I mouthed to her that, I’ll do it.
I noticed a brown leather bag, with seemed to be costly, and was lying underneath her seat. I opened my mouth to tell her if it was her bag as I hand her the comb but realized it might be hers so, I decided to zip my mouth and instead, distract her from watching with, “That’s a really nice and pricey bag you have down there.”
“Yeah–” she smiled but soon turned to a confused reaction, “Wait, what?”
“I said you have a nice and pricey bag?” I shrugged pointing towards the bag under her. She bends down to see the bag I found, and put on a shocked expression.
“That is not mine.”
“Oh my. I, I shall we call the stewardess or somebody else?” she continued, her rapid breathing telling me she’s panicking. I covered her mouth to stop her from squealing more. She was literally growing crazy in her seat.
“Let’s open it,” I laughed out but saint Ariella stopped me of course, “What do you think you’re doing?”
“Opening the bag and whatever impeding you do won’t work, Miss.” I stated as-a-matter-of-factly.
I started fumbling through the bag and glared at her for more than a minute, and she kinda just, ‘tsked’ and started doing the same as well. As we search–well, technically, investigate the bag all we found are pairs of jeans, skinny and ripped in particular, brown old boots, and . . . boxers. Our eyes almost popped out when we saw an iphone, while Ariella found a wallet and busied herself by reading some papers.
“Oh my.” She squeaked. “Why?”
“It’s this, p-p-pap-er. I, I th-i-ink it’s a, a p-pla-ne tick-et.” She stutters. I guess from all the stammering she instead, pointed towards a name . . . Harold Edward Styles. Japan-London.
My mind flashed backed to the news or some showbiz article that says, they wrapped up their tour in Japan. At least, that is what my mind gives me.
"Oh my god." I whispered. "This is his."
"How'd you know?" she asks.
"Because they ended the tour in Japan."
"Right. Oh dear." She cupped her cheeks probably in deem of what to do at the moment, since, we are about twenty hours before we even reach London and it's just five minutes we are already in panick.
Instead, we just let the thought fly first while we relax for the flight and take things easy. "You may now, turn your phones on if needed." The stewardess finally publicize. And before you know it, Ariella got 'Harry's' phone and turned it on.
"Oh, fifteen missed calls and twelve messages, great." She reads. Unexpectedly, the phone rang, and once again we both went shakey. "Should I answer it or not, it reads Louis."
"Click it, go answer, tell him the truth." I spoke rapidly.
"Wha-"
"Do it." I command slash cut her off.
And without hesitation she slid the answer button.
Ariella's P.O.V
I was panicking about what to say because my open mouth got frozed. "Louis" was already 'helloing' a couple of times already and I was completely startled to even speak.
"I, uh." was all I can say.
"Hello? Who's this?" His pitchy voice ringing against my ear.
"I-I a-a-m i-in. . ."
"Harry, stop pretending being a fan or something, wait, who are you?"
"I-i'm a-a ."
I presume he took off the phone from his ear and whispered, but failed, since I heard everything, "I think he slept with a girl–sigh–again." As soon as I heard the phone shuffle back to his ears I denied it, "N-no, no. I he left his pho–"
"Tell him, I'll call him later."
Oh, perfect. Now what? Oh, we had to wait hours before Abi's 'Bring back master plan' happens, so we just decided to lay and settle for a while, since fangirling is not going to get us anywhere.
Harry's P.O.V
"What?"
"What do you mean what, Styles. You're sleeping with somebody again am I right?" Louis being 'fathery' to me.
"Wrong, I lost my bag in a freaking plane, Louis." I contradict his guess.
"Oh, is that why somebody different answered, huh?" He sarcastically asked.
"Yes, you see I'm in Heathrow right now."
"Oh okay, fine."
Then he hung up.
Silly Louis, exaggerating situations, misinterpretating. I managed to chuckle despite the stress. The wallet there is somewhat important, I would feel guilt if I do loose it.
A/N: I've written quite plenty of diff characters point of views' in one chapter, but anyway, Chapter 2 for you!
