Tessa took a deep breath and turned to face Dylan.  They didn't mix like the light wind and soft drizzle they used to be. He was now a hurricane and she was a tornado, ready to unleash their fury.
"Us meeting is becoming a bad habit." Dylan teased, as he brushed a red lock of hair from Tessa's face.
"Maybe because we live in the same apartment you twat. Because of you too, may I add." Dylan toyed with the idea of using his power to startle her but decided it was probably best not to get the Grinch angry on this Winter morning. He decided instead to laugh and instead reach past to the counter where her pop tart was waiting for her.

Dylan knew that somewhere inside of Tessa, there was some humanity. He just needed to find it. She has to be afraid of being with him.  Afraid that she would hurt him and that's why she hurts others. To let her emotion out. Dylan dragged the bodies over to the police who were waiting.
"Thanks, Dylan for yet another capture. You're a good kid and a great hero." Officer Anderson tapped him on the back.
"I better be going, but if you ever need me, you know what to do." He walked off, his mind elsewhere. He didn't feel like being a hero tonight. Especially considering the one person he liked, wasn't praising him like everyone else in the town.

Tessa had admired the bodies getting dragged across the street by Dylan. And his ass. But that was beside the point. She got great pleasure out of watching Dylan flex his muscles after picking someone up who she had murdered. Tonight, she just needed to get a lot of her anger out. The anger of Dylan. The way he made her blood boil every time she saw him- which unfortunately was a lot. The question was: Made her blood boil with what?

"What's the matter, darling?" Dylan asked at the edge of the rooftop, watching Tessa eagerly. Tessa rolled her eyes. Of fucking course, he was here and ready to piss her off.
"You're unfit. When I heard you bragging to a bunch of girls about your eight pack, I knew you meant the beer we kept in the fridge. " Tessa coughed, clambering off the side of the building and facing Dylan. His hair was tousled and messy. His shirt covered in splats of blood from the bodies he saved- and didn't. Tessa got to some of those people too soon for him to do anything.
He walked towards her and grabbed her hand, pulling it to his chest.
"I think they were lying," he teased pushing her hand down, "Because I think you're feeling it right now." He jumped backward and clutched his chest. Flames twinkled in Tessa's eyes.
"Try that again sunshine. I dare you."

She was awoken by a bright light across the room. She sat up in bed to find that Dylan was lying on the bed, wearing glasses and reading a book. The thing is: There was no light on. Tessa's vision focused and she saw the light emitting from his hands. Dylan was a phototechnic.
"Turn off the light." Tessa croaked, wanting to get some sleep.
"The lights not on." Dylan beamed. Literally.
"You know what I mean."
Dylan chuckled and shut his hand, turning off the light emitting from it.  Tessa flopped back over, facing the window but was interupted by Dylan singing.
"Oh baby I light up your world like nobody else- OMG YOU BITCH!" Dylan shouted, throwing the blanket off of him and trampling on it trying to extinguise the flames.
"Let me guess. You found that hot." Tessa retorted, pulling the blanket over her head.
