"Okay are all the flowers on the tables?"
Dan and Phil frantically paced the wedding venue as they corrected decorations. "No no!", Phil exclaimed as one of the waiters placed the desert on the wrong table. "That one", he pointed out.
Dan, on the other hand, was doing his last bits of perfecting the bouquets. "Is the groom's bouquet in water?"
"Yeah!", someone shouted back.Soon enough, the time had come for the guests to arrive. "Here goes", Phil smiled.

"I do"
"I do too"The couple kissed and everyone cheered. "Who's next?", the groom shouted to the guests.
Dan and Phil leaned against the wall in the back of the room. Dan smiled sadly knowing it wouldn't be him.
"Whoop!", the groom exclaimed as he threw the bouquet. Unexpectedly, it landed in Dan's hands. He blushed.
The crowd turned to him and applauded joyously. "Congratulations, sweetie!", a lady told him.
Phil looked over at him and smiled brightly. "I'm so happy for you! I wonder who the lucky person will be"
"I-I don't know. I'd love to get married but what if there's no one out there for me?"
"Oh, Dan. Of course someone out there will love you with all their heart. That someone could even be in this room right now, you never know"~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~
"That was a huge success!"
"Yeah! We should celebrate. Hey uh Phil wanna come over to my house? Just for tea or something"
"Sounds good! Thanks a bunch, Dan"
"No problem at all. Just let me get my bag and we'll go"They arrived his house, which was a small apartment, in no time. Upon entering, they were greeted with a giant vase of bright red flowers. "Welcome to my home. It's small but nice I guess"
"Are you kidding me? This place is lovely"
"Really? Thank you"They put their things down and Dan walked to the kitchen to make tea. "Make yourself at home!", he shouted to the other room.
Phil sat down on the couch and looked around. He noticed one thing about the place: there were flowers everywhere. On the coffee table, by the window, next to the fireplace, by the doorway, and even on the shelves. "You seem to love flowers a whole lot", he said when Dan came back into the living room. He blushed and sheepishly put the cups down. "Uh I think it's an obsession at this point", he laughed.
"I love it. My house is filled with house plants"
"Really? I feel like we're meant to be", he jokingly said. "Oh yeah also do you want to maybe watch a movie or something?"
"Yeah! Sounds great!"They turned the TV on, went to Netflix, and chose a movie. "This looks pretty good", Dan said.
As the movie was playing, Dan and Phil moved closer and closer together until they were not even a centimeter apart. Phil slowly put his head on Dan's shoulder and dozed off. Smiling softly, Dan put an arm around Phil and dozed off with him.
They didn't know what they were doing, but it seemed like the damn right thing to do.
