The Guys Next Door

Chapter 3

I stared into the dark,soft and chocolate eyes that were looking at me. I want to move back, but I can't. After a long 30 second awkward silence, the stranger speaks.

"Oh I-I'm sorry." He backs away a little and sits next to the couch.

"It's okay, I'm Adria. Are you the one who shot me ?" I asked giggling a little.

"Yeah, I'm sorry I thought you were her." He said pointing to a firey, red hair that stood behind him.

She was wearing big hipster glasses. Her eyes were blue with a little eyeliner and her lips were bright red. She was wearing a lion king shirt and some jean shorts. She is tall, skinny and kind of pale. And she was holding a big nerf gun. She was really pretty.

"Hi, I'm Ariel." she smiles.

"You look like her." I said nodding.

"That's why my parents named me." she giggle.

I turned back to the stranger.

"How could you think I was her ?" I joked.

"Your hair is red." he laughed pointing to my ends.

"I didn't catch your name." I said.

"I'm Mitch. And that's Jerome, Quentin and Ian." He said pointing to 3 guys who waved.

"Ariel is Jerome's gf. And Jason where's Selena ?" He asked.

"Upstairs. SELENA !" Jason yells.

A girl with bright blue hair and dark gray eyes appears at the stairs. She is dressed in a black hoodie and some black jean shorts. She had a lip, nose and ears pierced all the way up the cartilage. She had lots of tattoos, but she was really pretty.

"Hi." I said waving.

"Hey." she snapped back.

"Come on Selena, be nice she just got shot. Can you not be a bitch today ?" Jason asked her.

"Um excuse me if I'm not instantly nice to a stranger in my house." she snapped at Jason.

"We'll talk about this later. Now we have a guest." Jason said turning back to me.

"How about we get you up ?" Adam asked holding out his hand.

I grabbed his hand and stood up.

"Thanks." I said hugging him.

"So how old are you ?" Mitch asked out of no where.

"Ummm I'm 17." I giggled and turned toward him.

"Perfect." he smirked.

"Perfect for what ?"

"Me. Want to go out tonight ?" he asked and bit his lip.

Ugh I can't say no to the lip bite.

"Sure see you at 7:30 ?" I say.

"Sure." he said and walked upstairs.

"Well, that escalated quickly." Adam laughed.

I laughed.

" I've got date and I've only been here for like an hour ! Oh my god !" I think.

"You should go get ready for you date and I'll get you at 7:20." Adam says.

"Why are you getting me?" I asked and look at the clock it's 5:43.

" Because I don't think you want your dad to know that your going on a date with a guy like Mitch."

"You're right. I should get going, bye everyone see you soon maybe." I say and head home.

I've got a date... and a hot one at that.
