Chapter 4

I opened my front door and happily skipped upstairs.

"Go formal ? Nah I'll go casual." I said excitedly.

"What are you doing ?" Kara asked coming into my room.

"Ok 1st knock before you barge in and I'm going on a date." I said skipping to my suit case.

"Whoa does mom know ? Is he hot ?

How old is he and what's his name ?" Kara asked sitting on the window sill.

"No, yes, around my age and his name is Mitch."

"Are you dating ?" she mocked.

"No it's just a date Kara." I turned into a valley girl. And she laughed.

I hate when girls do that but it makes her laugh.

"Does he have hot friends ?" she asked.

"Yes he does, but you're not going out with guy who are like 6 years older than you."

She sighed as I poured the contents and rummaged through it.

"Want to help me -" before I could finish she jumped up and sprang toward me and yelled "Hell yeah !"

We looked through the pile of clothes for some cute clothes. I picked out a gray beanie and my "Gamer Girl" Mario fire flower t-shirt. My sister takes out my camo jeans and my black tie up boot's. "Ok now get so I can try it on." I says and shoo her out of my room.

After I get dressed I let Kara back in and check the time. It's 6:34. I've got time. "Hey, wanna do my hair while I put my make-up on ?" I say and take my make-up out of the suitcase. "YES!!!" she yells and runs to the bathroom.

I put my make-up on as Kara curls my hair with our mom's curling iron.

When we are done I take a final look in the mirror." Wow you look like legit really pretty." Kara smiles. "Well I had some help. Thanks again." I smile and hug her.

"What are you going to tell mom ?"

"I'll just say that I have a date. She'll be happy for me."

I check the time. It's 7:03. I don't have that long." Can I see your date when he comes ?" Kara asked as we walked downstairs.

"Date ? Umm excuse me ?" my mother asked from the kitchen.

"I have a date."

"What's his name ? Is he nice and is he your age ?"

"Mitch, yes and yes."

"Is he coming to get you ?"

"No his friend is while he gets ready."

"Seems shady."

"Mom !"

She laughs and flashes me a smile. She gives me a $20 and I slide it in my pocket.

I sit on the couch and await my date.

After about 15 mins the doorbell rings.

I look out the window to see Adam.

"Bye guys." I say and open the door.

"Yah ready ?" he asked.

"Totally ." I smile.
