PROLOGUE
SUMMER?
Mainit. Pangalan palang mainit na.
I had so many plans for my first vacation as a university student, but unfortunately dahil anak ako nang malas kinakailangan kung mag-summer class para makahabol sa ibang subject na di ko na-enroll last semester kasi na late ako mag enroll. I had a very hard time choosing where to study (sus, bagsak lang sa entrance exam sa USC). Anyways, hindi pa talaga nagsi-sink in sa utak ko na I am done with High School and need ko na maging strong independent human being! Hindi sa pagiging overacting, I have seen the struggle of my ate and kuya and feeling ko hindi ko talaga kaya. Parang vlogger talaga yung path ko. Jusko, ano na!

Anyways, nandito po ako ngayon sa gate nang University of Cebu na pinapasukan ko at kaharap ang gwardiya na malamang nawe-weirduhan na sa akin dahil sa papalit-palit nang facial expression ko. At dahil naniniwala ako sa kasabihang early bird catches the worm na pinauso nang principal ko noong high school. Heto ako ngayon SEVEN-THIRTY ang unang klase!! Makapasok na nga bago pa ako mapagkamalang baliw ng guard.
"Problema mo, Victoria?"
"It's TORI. T-O-R-I, Okay?"
Inis na lingon ko sa kaibigan ko. She just roled her eyes on me, "Whatever you say, Victoria." And walk past me. "Di pantay kilay mo!" Sigaw ko. And she just scream and left me to go to the bathroom for sure.
"Haaaay, buhay!" Naiinis parin ako sa katotohanang kaysa nasa bakasyon ako nandito ako nagpapaka-bayani.
"Tori, aren't you going to sit with us here?" I saw Kath with her high ponytail, looking super pretty and classy. And sa gilid naman niya ay Si Ro, nakakunot ang noo while reviewing for here next class na Accounting. Buti nalang hindi ko kinuha yung Accounting, gusto ko kasi ng peace of mind kahit 2 months lang.
"Naah, I am good here." I am into learning pero not studying. I do not know if that makes sense. We're waiting for our second subject.
"Fine! I'll be sitting here at your back. Bakit ba kasi napaka-hilig mo sa front seat?!" biglang sabi ni Ro sabay tayo at sumunod naman si Kath na napatawa nalang din sa ginawa ni Ro.
