Chapter 8 ~Answer?~

He finally opened his mouth to speak for what felt like forever and I'll never forget the words he said next...

'I love you will you go out with me?'

Ryoma's P.O.V

I just sat there in shocked silence. He kept his eyes on me but I could see the worry and uncertainty in them. I thought for a moment before speaking to him.

"Fuji can you give me some time to think about this all?" I asked. I didn't want to hurt him by just blurting out something for being shocked I needed to think this over.

He looked at me with a concerned but relief gaze that I think it was from that I didn't just say 'no'. I got up from the bed and ran outside the room. (Remember were still in the mansion)

Fuji's P.O.V. (Tried 1st name didn't know how to spell it XD)

I sat there watching the back of Ryoma run out the door. 'Gods what did I just do?!? I just go and blurt out 'I LOVE YOU' what is wrong with me!' With a sigh I got up and headed to the bathroom to take a shower.

Ryoma's P.O.V.

I went out to the lake near the mansion. It was a little ways back in the forest at the back of the mansion. I sat there thinking of what Fuji just told me, i couldn't believe it. I mean he just said it right out but I guess I told him a lot of what went on in my life....

'AGH NO! I don't know what the hell just happened he just blurted out that he likes me I guess I have been feeling safe around him and a warm fuzzy feeling inside.... Is this love?!?! What do I do?!? I have no clue what to do!!!!

'Should I tell him or wait? No, I should tell him like he told me but how should I tell him? I can't just outright say it that would be so awkward.

I started walking back towards the house. I went in and went to have breakfast with everyone else. When I got in I was a little self-conscious of what I told them all the previous night.

I sat down right next to Momo-senpai and started to put food on my plate. I felt someone's gaze on me and looked up. Fuji was staring at me with a slight smirk as I blushed a little bit.

I went back to eating my food. "Hey Echizen do you wana play some tennis later?!" Exclaimed Momo. "Sure what time?" I asked him. "How about in like 20 minutes?" He replied. "Sure." I said back.

I got done with breakfast and started heading toward my room to get changed into tennis gear and get my racket. As I was walking I felt a tug at my right arm and someone drag me into a room.

"Hey! What are yo-" I stared into blue eyes. Fuji. "Hello Ryoma!" He said. "Uh hi Fuji do you need anything?" He stopped for a minute and asked "are you alright you ran out before and I couldn't find you?" He was concerned.

"Yeah um I thought about what you said to me and I want to say this out straight to you." He looked at me almost pleading for my answer. I took a deep breath and answered him truthfully...

"I think I love you. Can we work this?"
