There's a thin line between ego and dignity
A line so thin yet its importance can be worth of an infinity
You may not know
But there is a link
A link between crossing that line and the way you think
Egotism may toss you over and turn you around
But dignity will let you stay bound to a ground
A ground growing the flowers of your success
And a tree to your happiness
Water your tree from the river of your self-worth
The sun shines brighter when you put yourself first
The flowers may wilt if there's too much sun
So yes, you do you but remember not to run
Don't run from the people you love
Just start caring less about those you don't trust
