I cry extremely hard into Brendon as we walk.

"Hey, hey... It'll be alright." he coes and rubs my back.

"No it won't! I... I'm homeless." I admit.

"What do you mean?" he stops and cocks his head slightly to the left.

"My homophobic parents kicked me out and I had to live with her cheating ass." I continue to sob.

"Hey, then it's still fine. You can join the band permanently! And you can stay with me for as long as you need, no charge." he wraps an arm around me.

"You'd... Do that?" I ask in disbelief.

"I'll do everything I can for you!" he smiles warmly, concern still etched onto his face.

"I... Thank you, Brendon. It really is so nice." I hug his middle.

He giggles and says "No problem! Now, what type of ice cream do you want?"

"Y/f." I smile at his contagious happiness.

When we walk out of the store, we have my favorite and Brendon's favorite, rainbow sherbet. That really does match his personality.

"Thanks for um... Paying." I say awkwardly as we walk back.

"Again, I'll do everything to make this easier for you!" he smiles even wider.

When we get to the bus, we immediately go to his bunk and dig into our food. "So she... Cheated?" he looks very concerned.

"Yeah. There's this older guy that she's been sleeping with for a while. By the time I found out, it was too late to go back to mom and dad." I laughed at my own stupidity.

"Well, at least everything will be better from now on! I'll make sure of that." Brendon pulls me into a one arm hug.

"I'm glad that you're here for me at least." I nuzzle into his warm chest.

"I'm glad that you trust me enough to tell me this." he strokes my hair.

"Of course I do, it's hard not to trust you, Bren." I say warmly.

"How so?" he seems genuinely confused.

"You're just extremely trustworthy.. It's hard not to want to spill all of your secrets to you." I say honestly.

"Well... Thank you. It means a lot." he gives me a small smile.

"That's my line!" I laugh.

We spent the rest of the night talking about all of our hopes, our pasts, and basically everything until we pass out on each other.
