It's the year 2040, aliens and humans live in harmony on not Earth, but Shasogantu. Shasogantu is a neighboring planet who has avoided all signals that should've reached NASA, until now. The environment already inhabited life; humans simply added to it's population after Earth became a desolate wasteland and nothing more than a large gaseous ball of polluted air and water.

On Shasogantu, their entire planet is run on the elemental powers of a group of gemstones.
Normrgyrite, in the Southern Volcanoes. Archalcolite, in the Eastern springs. Lizesine, in the Western caves. Friamyte, in the plants and fields. Almpite, in the Northern glaciers. Altalorite, manufactured by aliens. Lithsanite, manufactured by humans. Athenstedtite, manufactured by royalty only. Each stone found in the planet raw holds an element; fire, water, ice, life, light, and darkness. Manufactured stones can hold multiple uses as well. Time travel, teleportation, mind reading, x-ray vision, and incredible strength to name a few.

However, like Earth, anything manmade will lead to consequences if used too much or incorrectly. Sadly, the residents of this planet were unaware of such issues; then the king and queen had a little girl. With an unexpected gift.

They royal family gave birth to a princess, who had eyes that would change color with her emotions. Not only that, she holds every power that would be found in the gemstones, both natural and manufactured. Although the king and queen were grateful for their daughter, they knew of a sinister force called Lummox. Lummoxes are black blob-like creatures who take the form of animals, humans, and aliens to lure people away and would love nothing more than to be greedy. All they want are the gemstones, but not just one, all.

If the Lummox found out about the newly born princess, it would cause a panic in the family and the entire planet; except for the bounty hunters. Bounty Hunters on Shasogantu want nothing more than money, and killing or capturing Lummoxes is easy cash in seconds. However, some bounty hunters and humans find Lummoxes as friends and side with them.

Divided amongst the Bounty Hunter Association, there are the Advocates and the Assailants. Advocates who stick to hunting, and Assailants who switched sides. Neither side has avoided the attention of the king and queen, that was certain.

However, a certain family of bounty hunters caught their eyes specifically. The Ventura family. Victor and Riley Ventura were the most well know bounty hunters alive; they were loved and worshipped by all, but to them the attention meant nothing. Riley was expecting a child; bounty hunting was the least of her worries, or so she thought.

During one of Victor's hunts, an Assailant followed him home; and on that same day, Riley gave birth. A little baby girl with eyes as yellow as the sun and hair as black as coal; they named her Ryan. But, those eyes soon went dull.

The Assailant who followed Victor killed Victor and Riley in their sleep, leaving Ryan alone until one of Victor's hunter friends found her alone. He took her in, taught her all he could, only to realize training a girl to become a bounty hunter was much more difficult when they wanted to steal something every second.
