-Restroom-
- Mark's pov.-
I held on to Jack's hand tightly as we walked into the semi crowded Chinese food restaurant me and Felix often went to. It's just so happened Jack had been here a couple times.
I walked in getting hit with the aroma of delicious food.Jack and I sat down and ordered our food.
"How's all your class a going so far?" Jack asked ripping me away from my thoughts. I pondered for a second about his question.
"Meh. Most of them are okay. I've been falling behind lately and I have no idea why......" I said which is true. I spent less time studying than I used to. I would be locked in my room for hours with my nose buried in a book.
"You don't think its me, do you?" Jack asked as they set our food on the table in front of us.
"Well actually. That might factor in quite a bit." I said winking at him and scarfing down a piece of food.
"I just don't wanna get in the way of your sucess. Last think you need is someone dragging to down." Jack said looking down at the table.
I didn't mean to make him feel bad about it. I mean. Yes. I spent more time cuddling with Jack that I do working on assignments and essays but I kinda like the alternative.
"Jack. Don't worry." I said making him look back up at me. "My grades aren't suffering too much, and I fucking love spending time with you. It makes me so happy. It's pretty much a necessity at this point." I leaned over the table separating us slightly and placed a soft tender kiss on his lips causing him to blush.
That's when I noticed.
You know when to sense something off? It could be someone staring at you for to long. Any action that to can sense. I listen to Jack go on about his day.
I could feel someones eyes staring at me.
So I did what I would soon regret. What would soon ruin me.
My blood ran cold. I felt a chilling sensation on my back as I turned around and across the restaurant my eyes met a familiar face.
Daniel.
I met his chilling gaze and quickly looked away hoping he didn't notice me look back at him. What am i gonna do? I cant just grab Jack and rush out. That would look suspicious, and I'm sure Jack would have some questions. There was no positive outcome from this. He was gonna walk over here and confront me. Jack would ask me who he was.
"Is every thing okay?" Jack said in a hushed tone placing his hand over mine. I looked at him. His understanding and caring smile making me feel oh so much better. He radiated happiness.
"Um y-yeah." I said glancing him a smile back. " I just gotta go use the restroom. I'll be right back." I said letting his hand go and walking towards the restroom.
I awkward shuffled into the restroom, my heart rate now increasing. What could I possibly do In this situation. Daniel is gonna notice me. He is gonna approach me. Jack is gonna question who he is. I looked at the dirty bathroom mirror and ran my hand through my hair. I wiped away the threatening tears now tugging at my eyes waiting to fall. I strolled over to the stall and closed the door behind me. I sat on the toilet and place my hand up to my face.
I can't fall apart. Not here. Not now.
I heard the brief yet loud sound of the door opening then closing. Followed by a couple steps towards my stall. My stall. The one I WAS IN. There were two others right next to the one i was in, but as fate has seem to shown, the world hates me.
