Chapter 21

I started unpacking a bit, but not to much, cause tomorrow afternoon we will have to fly to the next venue. I sighed a bit, of course noticed by my brother. Should I tell him that I talked to Logan?

"- What's wrong?

- Nothing. It's just...

- Just what?

- Maybe you should talk to him.

- Why? I think it's pretty clear what he did.

- But do you know why? Come on, please talk to him, I don't want to be in awkward situations for the coming 4 months.

- Me neither. Why do you want me to talk to him? You're the one that's hurt.

- I know... but maybe I talked to him already." I whispered. Please don't be mad. Please don't be mad.

"- You did what? I knew I shouldn't have let you in alone!

- I had no choice James! When I walked into the room, he was talking over the phone to his girlfriend. HIS. GIRLFRIEND. He confessed everything to her. What was I supposed to do? Just take everything and leave? She broke up with him. Over the phone. Doesn't that sound familiar to you? He explained everything to me. Maybe you should listen to him and hear what he has to say. And take Austin with you.

- For what?" Austin had just walked into the room.

"- She talked to Logan.

- You did what?

- Come on guys, it's not like he tried to do it again. He really regrets his mistake. He was crying. I didn't touch him okay? I was afraid to. But if you listen to what he has to say, maybe you'll understand a little, like I did. You can be pissed at me as much as you want, but I don't regret talking to him. I just wanted answers and that's why I decided to listen to what he had to say about it.

- Okay, I understand. But you should've talked to one of us first, so that we could come with you." Austin looked worried.

"- Nothing happened. I promise." I gave him a hug.

"- I believe you. But that's not why I came here. I came here to invite you. I'll be back here in an hour, to pick you up for a surprise. Wear something nice." He winked at me and left the room. What was his plan?

"- What was that about?" James asked. Apparently he didn't know anything.

"- I have no idea. But I guess I should get showered and get dressed cause Austin has a surprise for me. Maybe you can talk to Logan." I hoped he got the hint.

"- Please? Do it for me." I practically begged him.

"- Fine." And he left the room, clearly not fully convinced. But I didn't care, they needed to talk.

In the meanwhile I prepared myself to go take a shower. Seeing the bathroom it was clear that two guys were showering here. What a mess. But I didn't have time to think. I needed to shower. And that's what I did. I washed my hair and blow-dried it a bit before putting it into a pigtail. Cause if I let it lose, I'll have big hair in no time. Not cool. Since Logan's birthday party probably isn't happening anymore, I putted on the dress that I bought for that. I applied some light make-up, even though I didn't know where he would take me.

I still had a quarter left before Austin would be back here. But I noticed that my brother was long gone already. I hope he behaves a little and doesn't make things worser than they already are. I didn't have much time to think about it cause the minute I thought it, he came back in.

"- And?

- I hate to admit it, but you were right. Talking to him was good. I'm still pissed for what he did, but I now understand him better. I've had times on previous tours that I missed Halston so bad that I searched it in other things...
