While everyone is busy doing Christmas shopping, having dates, going out with their families and other more, a day before Christmas. In a big white house, full of Christmas decorations, there lives a young beautiful girl. She who lives there doesn't like Christmas, not because she don't believe in it but because she can't see the value of it. People share, receive and smile a lot in this day, and she doesn't understand why.

The girl on the Christmas house was named Natalie, she was a girl born on a Christmas day. But she never likes that idea. Every year, she celebrates Christmas and her birthday alone in the big house. Her family was always busy and they would just make their presents be delivered to her. The people on their house were always on a leave, at least on that day. They would just cook many foods for her and leave it on her table before they go. This year she was turning 17 and the same as usual, she would be celebrating it alone on their house.

The phone rang and the maid answered the phone.

"Miss Natalie, madam is on the line." said the maid.

She took the phone and started to talk, "Hello, Mom? How are you? Are you done on your trip? Would you be able to go home?"

"Sorry Natalie, I can't. Your dad and I have to attend an important Christmas gathering, there will be many investors there and we need to meet them." her mom explained.

"Ah, I see. So, why did you called?" Natalie asked with a very sad tone.

"Well I have a favor to ask. Will you go tomorrow on one of our foundation's Christmas party? Max will bring you there."

"Ok." She agreed.

"Good. Well, I have to end this now, I still have a meeting." her mom said.

"Wait, Mom, Merry-" she didn't get to finish her sentence when her mom hanged up, and so she just put down the phone.

"Miss, your food for Christmas Eve celebration is served. If you need something, just call for me because all the other servers were on leave." said the maid.

"Just leave it there; I'll eat, if I get hungry. I'll be on my room; you may take your rest now. Thank you for everything." Natalie told the maid.

"You're welcome. And Miss Natalie, Merry Christmas and Happy Birthday." the maid greeted her. Natalie replied with a sad smile.
