BUBBLES

What's in a name?

I'd like to begin by saying that everything said, everything spoken, everything done is not deleted from the picturesque of life. I thought I'd make that clear because your mind is a photographic memory and you save everything on your flash drive until your final minutes are up and you're wishing you could start over again. You don't just delete a memory. You replay it over and over again until it becomes apparent that you, and only you, are just another bubble to this environment. As the air just ages you ungracefully, you're dying every second. You are just another legend, another mystery, another death that no one knows about unless you've found a cure to cancer or put an end to the generation of smoking. No one knows you. You're a nobody. And don't sprinkle sugar on it to make it sound sweet as an eyesore. You are unwanted. You are nobody.

And today you happen to never forget that thunderstorms don't go away the next day. Thunder is followed by the heart stricken bolts of electricity that make your bones rattle. And day after wretched day you are reminded that all the thunder wants is the lightning, just for the way it makes it feel hungry again. But there's no rain to wash it away and the sun is too scared because the moon's heart is powerful.

But what's in a body? Well... A heart. Lungs. Eyes. Throat. Stomach. Kidneys. Brain. But is there all there is? There is skin ranging from a variety of colors you'd find on the tip of your paintbrush. There are breasts that feed newborn life into this cruel world. They are called rib cages for a reason; because our hearts are too wild for us to keep. That's why we give them away. There are freckles and beauty marks and moles from sizes that shouldn't even matter. There is no weight limit because there is no age limit to do what you love. There is no perfections outlined in imperfections. There is no height, there is no definition of being thin, there is no perfect name. because what's in a name?

And the only definition of beauty begins with the words him. A girl could never imagine how lucky she is to have encountered such a selfless human being because of how determined and undenyingly amazing he is. Because a boy can have boobs, a boy can a feminine voice if he wants to, a boy can kiss a girl in public and only want her for everything he gives her. Her eyes. Her smile. Her heart.
