Hi everyone! I'm so sorry that it's been so long since an update. I've been so busy and then I had a horrible case of writer's block. You know how it goes. Anyway, I've recently been inspired. Expect Chapter Five in a few days! I'm just doing some final editing. I hope you haven't lost interest. Here's a quick recap of (recently edited) chapters 1-4.
RECAP:
Ollie and her twin brother Yuri live in New York City. They each work two jobs to pay for Maya's (Ollie's daughter) medical treatment for her lung problems. Maya lives in a children's hospital.
Ollie works in Donny's Pizzeria by day and The Heat (strip club owned by Landon Dempsey and his wife Ella) as a waitress by night. Landon and Ollie are having an affair. Landon's younger brother Mason is staying with him for a while.
Background: Ollie and Yuri grew up in Russia. They moved to America at their uncle's behest. Their father was horribly abusive growing up. Ollie was raped by her boyfriend, who got her pregnant with Maya before abandoning them.
