It's been two days since I've been back at True Cross since my Grandfather's funeral.
I haven't slept a wink. I've only eaten when Rin insists on it.  Even then I only eat two or three bites.
My weight has dropped from the stress and the sadness.
I'm in the worst shape of my life.
I'm cuddled up in Rin's bed. He went to go get me food. Yukio's on the other side of the room, grading papers. He turns and notices me sitting up in the bed.
"Have you not slept yet?" He asks concerned.
"No." I tell him blankly.
He gets up and goes to a small cabinet and retrieves a small bottle of something. "Here." He hands it to me. "This will help you sleep. Don't worry it's all natural."
"What is it?" I question.
"Chamomile. It will help you relax." He tells me.
Rin and lady with long red and blonde hair and wearing what looks like a bathing suit top walks in.
Rin sits the bag of food in my lap and kisses my forehead.
"Hey babydoll." He wraps me in a hug. "I brought someone here to meet you, I hope that's okay."
I just nod my head.
The young woman sits in front of me on the bed. "Hey, my names Shura. I'm an exorcist, I also knew your mother."
I sit up and lean in closer to her, wanting to hear more. "You did?"
Rin wraps his arm around me and pushes the bag of food closer to me, wanting me to eat. I grab the chicken sandwich out of the bag and start eating it. Rin smiles and rubs my back. "Shura studied under my dad before she became an inspector for the Vatican."
Shura nods. "I met your mom at church. You were there too, but you were just a baby."
I eat a bit of my sandwich. "Were you guys friends?"
Shura smiles. "We were. I actually stayed with her and your grandfather during one of my missions." She puts a hand on my knee. "I'm so sorry for your loss. He was such a kind man."
"Thanks.' I say, Rin hearing the sadness in my voice holds me tighter. I look down at my sandwich and put it on the night stand. Every time I'm reminded that he's gone I just feel sick.
"I can't eat this right now, Rin. I'm sorry." I say sadly.
Rin let's me lay my head on his shoulder. "It's okay sweetie."
Shura decides to change the subject, thank goodness. "Are you going camping with the class?"
"Camping?" I ask confused.
Rin interjects. "Yukio insists we do this three day drill to prepare for combat." He rolls his eyes.
"Oh." I say. "I guess I'm going."
Yukio turns around from grading papers. "Isabella, you can be excused if you want. It won't count against you."
I shake my head. "No, I'd rather not be alone anyways."
Yukio nods. "If you're comfortable enough then I don't mind you coming. I just don't want you to get overwhelmed."
"I'll be okay." I say.
Shura leaves because she has work to do and Yukio goes to bed.
I change into my pajamas and return to bed with Rin.
Rin hands me the bottle of Chamomile. "You need your rest sweetheart."
I take it and drink it slowly.
I rest in Rin's arms and drift off into a peaceful sleep...however it didn't stay peaceful for very long.
The Nightmare
"I'm coming for you next." A voice ruptures loudly in my ear.
I wake up to find myself in a dark secluded cave.
"What the-whos there?" I cry, with fear in my voice.
An evil laugh causes me to shake.
"You know damn well who I am. I took your mother, I took your Grandfather and now I'm going to kill you."
I get up and run as fast as I can trying to find an exit.
I'm stopped by millions and millions of goblins dragging me further into the ground.
"Get off! Get off of me!" I scream repeatedly.
End of dream

"Baby, baby! Wake up!" Rin shakes me awake.
Tears are rolling down my eyes and I'm struggling to catch my breath.
"He's going to kill me!" I cry.
Rin grips me firmly by my shoulders.
"Who?" Rin asks.
My fearful voice only comes out in a whisper. "Satan..."
