The boys have one last show before they have a three-day break. I decided since we will be in this city for a short while it might be a good time to find a walk-in clinic so I can get the baby checked up on. Luckily I found a clinic that's a 13-minute walk from the hotel we are staying at.
This entire baby situation has been stressing me out, it still doesn't feel real; I'm refusing to believe that I'm pregnant. I could have very well gotten a bad batch of pregnancy tests and it gave me a false positive, right?
I'm in denial.
Not to mention that Luke has been super clingy lately, always keeping his hands on me, not wanting to let me out of his sight; I swear he would follow me into the bathroom if I let him. But I need to find a way of getting to the clinic without him coming with or finding out.

Hey can you cover for me while you're doing sound check???

Ummmm, sure? What for?

Oh nothing, but if Luke asks where I am, just say..... say I went back to the hotel to catch up on some sleep because I'm not used to all this traveling still, but I'll be back in time for the show :)
Oh! And make sure he knows that I'm okay and that he doesn't need to check on me.

Hmm okay, pretty specific. BE SAFE. Don't do anything I would do.

The guys start their sound check in about 8 minutes so if I slip out now I'll have enough time to get there and make it back before the show starts.
*skip forward to the appointment*
When I got to the clinic the lady at the front desk gave me a clipboard to fill out which entailed my medical history and information and then immediately put me in a room.
I sit on the firm table in the small quiet room waiting for the doctor's arrival. When I see the door handle push down and a tall man with black-grey hair enter the room I instantly get nervous, he's the man that will confirm my unexpected pregnancy.
"Hello, I am Dr.Hensey, how can I help you today.... Kendall." He says reading my name off his chart.
"Umm, well, about a week ago? I took a pregnancy test and it came out positive." I said with a wary tone, not wanting to be here. "That's great! How about we get an ultrasound set up for you" He told me while making his way out of the room.
This is it. When he walks back into this room I will figure out if I have a baby growing inside me or not. Do I have time to make a run for it? Maybe if I never find out if I'm actually pregnant it won't be real and I won't have to face reality. The door to the cramped room swings open and in comes Dr.Hensey pushing a cart with an ultrasound machine in front of him.
"This may feel a bit cold" the doctor mentions as I lay down, paper crinkling underneath me, squirting clear jelly like substance onto my lower stomach.
The doctor moves the wand thing around where he place the jelly before something shows up on the screen "Congratulations Kendall, you are indeed pregnant."
