10k's POV

Its been a few days since I got injured. Now my wound was healing, as I looked at my reflection in the mirror. I was in the bathroom lifting my shirt slightly while checking my wound.

I suddenly got a hang of things, especially the place. Yeah I stayed in the house for a while doing nothing, but reading, sleeping, or eating these days. After a few days, I got closer to the girl which I don't even know her name!? I should've asked for her name She stayed with me, and kept me company. She took care of me in the past days. I was surprised and thankful

She was kind of like a mom I never had, but younger, and cute. But like not in that way. The girl usually come and go because of the work she has to do around here. It was in the afternoon I was on a the bigger couch in the "living room". I heard the door open when I thought it was the girl....it was not.
It was their leader?

I guess...I didn't know anything else about him. "Here some more food, I thought you might be hungry," The leader said. He sat the bag full of can foods, and then he turned to me.

"Looks like your healed....good... then you need to be heading out tomorrow morning" The leader said.
"Okay....thank y....." But before I could say anything he paused me. "Let me set some ground rules here 1. Tomorrow morning you need to be gone, and I mean gone for good. 2. Before then, if I see you try anything anything! I will end you, and 3. When you're gone...forget any of this happened, don't you dare mention your friends or anyone about us! AM I CLEAR!" The leader said angrily. "Y..y..yes sir," I said a little terrified.

But before he could go..."Hey thank you for letting me stay" I thanked him. Oh thank god I saw the girl coming from the from door, and I was relieved It was her.

"Dad stop!" The girl said. Wait what?! The leader is the girls Dad?! Well I did not see this one coming
It was silent. "If anything happens, its on you," Her dad said to the girl then he left, while saying orders to other people. "Well that was..." She said pausing, and I gave an awkward smile to tell he know I agree with her.

"How is your wound, can I check?" She asked softly, I didnt really say anything I just nodded, lifting my shirt up a bit for her to do a checkup. She walk towards me, and then she bend down well got on her knees checking my wound. "Here let me change it," she said before grabing a first aid kit in her bag.

Once she hot a hold of her clean; rolled up bandages she then replace the dirty old ones into clean white bandages. After that she put my shirt back down making me gulp in the process. "There! That's probably gonna leave one hell of a scar," she laughed. I mirrored her actions.

"Um im gonna go upstairs to check around," she started walking away, but I grabbed her wrist before she even took another step. "Wait!" I said as I was holding her skinny wrist; afraid it was gonna shatter in my hands. She got the message, and she looked at me; waiting for an answer. "I wanna say thank you....for everything I mean," I glanced at her eyes before they went down to the floor.

"Y...you're welcome," She said softly; forming a smile...

We basically stared at each others eyes for while before I let go of her and then she walked away; heading upstairs.

2nd POV

A few minutes past Kira was still checking upstairs, as she went in her room and headed for the bookshelf. She wondered about the boy downstairs who was unknown to her, but somehow Kira didn't mind. Kira took one of the books from the shelf, and started to scan the book.
It was not long when she heard footsteps; making her jump, as she turned around The boy appeared in her eyes,. Kira sighed in relief.

"Oh god....you scared me," Kira pointed out. "S...s..sorry," The boy apologized. Kira turned around contining on what she was doing. Kira didnt even know what the boy was doing, but wondered as she still scanned through books. Silence again for a while, but a voice made Kira jump again.

"Y..You Know...you never really told me your name," The boy said looking at Kira. "That's cause you never asked, and I also never told you" Kira stated the obvious. "Why? You wanna know it?" Kira asked turning her head to look at him then tilting her head slightly. The boy nodded, Kira sighed before turning around to face him. "Its Kira," She smiled at the boy. "What's yours?" Kira asks. "Ten thousand, but my friends call me 10k," 10k answers. Ten thousand?! What kind of name is that? Kira raised one of her eyebrows to show him that she's confused and slightly worried...

"Its how many zombies I plan to kill," 10k answers her. "..Oh," Kira shockingly said, "Well hows that going?" she sarcastically asked before turning around to face the book shelf instead. "I'm already on 6,234" 10k confidentially said...

"Damn" Kira's head turned to 10k with wide eyes. 10k looked down; smirking. He felt his cheeks get warm. All of a sudden Kira gasped, which made 10k shot his face right back at hers. "I almost forgot!" Kira said as 10k questioned Kira before looking at she was doing she got behind the chair grabbing a backpack, and a rifle as 10k looked at what it was then he relized it was his stuff.

"I should probably give your stuff back since your leaving tomorrow, and I'm guessing your a pretty good shot with this thing," Kira said. Oh you have no idea how good I am with that 10k thought. "Y...yeah," 10k said before grabbing his stuff. Suddenly they heard. "Lower your weapons," voices said. Kira and 10k looked at each other. Kira headed for what was going on, followed by 10k.

When they were outside, 10k was suprised that it wasnt a camping ground. It was basically a community, walls were build around, and there was a few houses. Around it were fire, and people were going around by it, and on top of the walls were people with guns. They headed for the front, and once we got the there was people with guns, ready to fire, and it was crowed. 10k and Kira tried to make there way to the front.

They were heading for the front. An image of unknown people appeared well for Kira. "Hey I think I might know these people," 10k said, but Kira didnt know who the people were. It looked like there was a guy with a beard, a women with short red hair with this weird looking bat, and there was another guy looked mexican, and there there was another women talking. Who seemed to be the leader Kira wondered.

Once 10k, and Kira headed for the front, Kira looked at 10k.10k was happy. 10k walked towards them Kira grabbed his armed to stop him. "10k w..what are you doing?" Kira said, but that didnt help at all, 10k just kept walking towards them, as the group look at 10k, and they looked happy.

"Well I'll be damed 10k!" The beared man said before walking towards 10k as they hugged!? "Oh my god 10k!" The short red hair said, as she ran up to 10k to join in the hug, Kira was so confused.

The group broke the hug apart, and the leader it seems as she walked towards the rest of the group.
"10k! We thought you were dead" The leader said smiling.
"I thought so too....the girl over there, her name's Kira, and I would've died if it wasn't for her" 10k stated.

He look at Kira.....well this is gonna be fun Kira thought.
