10k's POV

I was riding on the motorcycle for hours now. Now stopping there was a gate. I rode towards there but...

"Stop right there!" I looked and it was a guy with a gun pointing at me, and there were others. "I don't know who you are, but turn around now!" I was about to say something, but the gate open slightly then a person came out, I half smiled now realizing who it was. "10k?" Kira said softly, as she slowly walked towards me. Her presence made me felt calm, and when I was looking at her I was glad I came here.

"Surprise," I then fully smiled at Kira.
                                  
Kira's POV

So many days past, and I didn't even know what day it was. I was back to my usual daily routine you know get up get ready. Be a handy helper, eat then go to bed. "Hey Larry!?" I yelled, hoping he heard me as Larry was across the wall from me. "Yeah?!" Larry questioned.

"You know what day it is?!" I asked. I had my bow laying on my lap, and I was sitting on a wall with legs hanging out. "It's Wednesday!" Larry answered. Larry was much older than me I mean he told me he's 30 so he's 12 years older than me. "Thanks Larry!" I said smiling and waving at him, and he just waved back. He was a nice friend to have around especially in these zombie apocalypse days. These days it's good to have someone you trust...

"Wait...." Larry said he got up to look through his binoculars. "What is it?" I asked concerned then I looked on what's he looking at, and there was this guy on a motorcycle. I put a hand over my head trying to see without the sun blocking my view.

It looked he was coming over here, and I got ready to whatever's gonna happen. Once the guy got here, I suddenly recognized this guy I squinted then I got up moving to a part of the wall getting closer to get a good image. I took a sharp breath when I got a clear image, but I didn't know if it was actually him or not. I got down from the wall, but Larry stopped me.

"Kira!? What are you doing I don't know this guy! And so does the others!" Larry interrupted. "Yeah, but I do....open the gate," I ordered. "But Kira..." I stopped Larry from saying anything.

"Just slightly....please?" I asked. Making Larry paused, but he nodded in defeat he got down with from the wall then he opened the gate, but a little bit. Then I slipped through the gate getting to the other side. My eyes widened on who it was, and it was....

"10k?" I asked the black haired boy in front of me.

He was one a motorcycle; wearing a black jumpsuit it looks like. His goggles with the bandanna was still on his head, I couldn't believe it was him, so I walked slowly over to him. The people who were witnessing this were about to fire, but my hands were in the air; ordering not to fire.

"Surprise," 10k said. He got up from the motorcycle walking towards me now we were facing each other; arm length away from each other.

I was looking at him, and he was looking at me. I was having that feeling where you felt sad at first. Then you feel happy when a person you liked was standing right In front of you...

Yeah wave of emotions...

"10k what are you doing here?" I asked concerned, and it was just him. He wasn't with his people. "Long story," He answered. "Well we can't stay here," and it was true so I went back to the gate. My arms held 10k's arms to nudge him to follow me; he oblige.

We were now inside of the gate. We walked into the house that 10k stayed for a while. I gestured for him to sit down on one of the couches. "Are you hungry?" I asked, sitting across from him. "I'm fine," He looked up at me with the cute smirk he has.

I had no idea what to say. It kinda got awkward. "What happened?" With concerned in my eyes as I looked at him, and then he started talking about everything.
                
10k's POV

I basically told her everything that happened except for when I got bit.

I can't tell anyone about the bite...no one. Even when I wanted to, I couldn't. When I finished telling Kira what happened I looked at her. She was silent; looking down.

"Well then," Kira said softly then continues. "What happens now?" She asked. That was a good question cause I have no idea. I just stayed silent even when I wanted to speak. "I mean....I guess you could stay here for a while," She said looking at me. I just half smirked and nodded, and then she mirrored my actions.

"Anything else on your mind?" I didn't turn away from her, my eyes was just still on her. She just sighed, and her eyes planting on the ground. "I actually never thought I would see you again, so this was surprising that you appeared on the outside of my gate" She admits. I fully smirked this time.

"Yeah I never actually thought I would see you again too," I replied, and I noticed her cheeks were a light pink which made her look cute. She then looked at me, her eyes were now widened with concerned. One of her hands now reaching to my cheek, the heat from her fingers touch my cheek. I usually panic, but for some reason I didn't, I just let her touch my cheek. I even leaned in; enjoying the way her soft, delicate hand caressed my cheek.

"Your cut!" she got worried, and I was. It probably from the glass that I went through when I jumped. I didn't even know it was there when she touched it. She didn't hesitate to help me. Kira grabbed my wrist to get me to follow her up stairs and into the bathroom. She put the toilet lid down making me sit on it and I oblige.

She opened one of bathroom cabinets grabbing the rubbing alcohol and a cotton pad I didn't notice she was now going to on her knees. Her hand with the cotton pad landed on my cut making me flinch in pain, but looking at her made me not care about the pain. I then noticed something about her...

Kira is caring. She was a good person...me?

However was not anymore now since I'm a blend. Then just realizing what she'd done, she put a bandage on the cut. We looked at each other, her heat from her fingers were still on my cheek. She suddenly noticed that, putting her hands back to her sides..

"Thank you Kira," I softly coo. "Your welcome," she replied softly. She got up then I got up as well making me feel tall, Kira was pretty short she was barely up to my shoulders.

"Oh! I forgot to tell you! We actually have running water," she said smiling, my eyes lit up when she said they have running water I mean I haven't took a shower ever since pre Z I believe.

"Yeah um I'll just go downstairs, and when your done, go in one of rooms I'll put clothes on top of the bed you slept in," she said.

I nodded then she left closing the door. As soon as Kira left I was now shirtless, but I was turned around looking at the bite mark on my neck. Can't let anyone know about this. Who knows what they would do I look at the brown bag was right there I sighed then turned around looking at my self for a while then I got in the shower cleaning up, and it felt good to take a shower again I gotta say.
