(14) Going Into A Haunted House

Devin

"We're finally in the front." Devin says.

"Right, I watched three Netflix episodes." You turn your phone off and put it in your back pocket.

"You ready?"

"Of course. Why wouldn't I be?"

"No reason, just thought you were a little scared." He nudges your arm.

"Me, scared? Please. You'd scream way before I would."

"Is that a challenge?" He walks closer to you.

"A challenge it is. Whoever screams first loses."

"If I win, I get the last giant snickers ice cream in the freezer."

"And if I win, I get the leftover olive garden lasagna in the fridge." You say.

"Fine, deal."

In the Haunted House you both screamed at the same time. Devin ran away from you a couple times, but you did the same so it was pretty fair. You both were super scared and tried to get out as soon as possible. When you got home you shared what you both bet on.

Daniel

"This line is so long. We've been waiting here for almost two hours." Daniel sighs.

"But it's gonna be worth it." You eagerly say. He wraps his arms around you and you feel comfort in his embrace. The line moves up so he leaves his arm around your shoulder while you hold his waist.

"Raise your tickets!" The man yells after about twenty more minutes. You guys stand in front of the door ready to go in. He collects them all and leads the crowd into the first room where you wait to go into the main thrill.

Throughout the whole house, you and Daniel stayed side by side holding hands. Your throats were super soar from all the screaming you both did. The funniest part was when Daniel tripped over one of the props and you fell right with him. Your laughing quickly ended though when one of the scarers came out of nowhere and chased you two until the exit.

Kevin

"This finna be too lit!" Kevin grins.

"We're in the next group?" You nervously ask.

"Yep." He holds your hand. "You scared?" You nod. "Don't be, I'll be with you the whole way. This is gonna be fun." He kisses your forehead.

"Easy for you to say, I've never seen you scared."

"Don't worry, I promise you'll be fine."

"I guess."

"Next group." The guy calls out and begins to let people go towards the door.

During the entire house Kevin only screamed a few times. He was mostly laughing at you when someone scared you. At one point it was pitch black. A guy tried to scare Kevin but he ended up getting a punch in the face. One time you were so scared you literally hopped up into Kevin's arms.
