I felt something... As I was laying on the concrete.
My eyes shot open and I saw the same people around me. They all looked relieved.
"Where is the ambulance?!" I heard someone shout. "Didn't anyone call nine one-"
"We did! Twice! They said they are on their way!" Another shouted back. I looked down and saw a mop of brown hair... Long curly hair and arms wrapped around me.
"A- Archer..." She said. Realization hit me. Julie.
I slowly closed my eyes...
"Stay awake!" Julie said to me. I opened my eyes again. She looked like a mess. Her hair fell on her face. Her eyes were red, tears wete going down her face. She kept sniffing like she cried too much.
I shook my head slowly.
"L- leave me..." I squeezed out the words.
"No. You think no one cares, but I do," She said. Her face was inches from mine. Her warm brown eyes stared into mine.
"No..." I replied. She sighed.
"Yes and you can't change that. Stay awake until the ambulance comes," She said.
"But-"
"Shut up."
She smiled weakly.
I tried to stay awake as long as I remembered until I heard the sirens of the police and ambulance.
