I run to my sister's room.
"How did I not know about this?!" I shout to the doctor that is right behind me.
"It seems as she lost her memory-"
"She what?!" I stop my tracks.
"The impact of the car hitting the tree and pole caused some brain damage in which she lost her memory. She somehow remembers about having a family, but she does not know who they are. Wait, stop walking!"
Tears form in my eyes. I probably look like a mess.
I continue walking.
I open the door handle and pushed it.
"Melody..." I see her. Sitting up from her bed, her hands were wrapped around a plastic cup filled with water. Her light brown eyes searched my face.
"Hello. Do I know you?" She asks me.
I don't answer, but go straight up to her and give her a bone crushing hug.
"I missed you," I tell her.
"I am so sorry, but who are you?" She asks for the second time. I smile weakly.
"Archer. Your little brother."
