"So I was thinking we could just order some pizza and watch movies but if you guys want to do something else then just let me know and we can d-"
"Niall, calm down. Why are you so nervous?" I smile at him and grab onto his arm. "I'm not nervous I just, uh, like'" he starts to say and Louis cuts him off.
"He obviously likes you a lot. He's never like this and now, look at him!" All the guys laugh and I start to blush. Damn it! I need to stop doing that.
I turn back around to Niall, "whatever you had planned is fine. Im okay with anything." He smiles and I can see he is starting to relax. I think it's kind of cute how nervous he is. Most guys aren't like that, I like it.
The guys sit on the couches and Karina and I follow. They just stare at us like they've never seen girls before and I can't help but start laughing.
"What's so funny, Krys?" Liam asks.
"Your-"
"You're just staring at us!" Karina says for me.
I nod. "Sorry!" They all say at the same time and hold their hands up. We all just start laughing.
Niall comes in and takes a seat next to me on the sofa.
"I told the pizza place that you would pick it up, is that fine?" Niall says facing Harry. "Yeah, sure. About what time?" "She said in 10 minutes so you should probably start going now?"
Harry stands up and heads down the hall. He comes back with his jacket and his car keys. "Does anyone wanna come with me?" Everyone stays quiet. "Fuck you guys then!" He says laughing, "except you ladies!"
"I'll go!" We all turn to Karina and she's standing from the couch. Harry smiles at her and nods his head. He holds the door open for her and they're gone.
"Well okay then." I say quietly to myself.
"How did you meet Karina?" Zayn asks with a smile.
"Oh uhm, it was in 9th grade. Everyone was sort of mean to me and Karina wasn't. My parents were always fighting so she would invite me to her house almost everyday. When I started hurting my-" I stopped myself as I felt my eyes burning with tears. "Well, she was always there for me." I quickly say and smile at them blinking back the tears.
I always get so lost when I'm talking about this that I don't even have a filter. I say everything the way it happened.
The guys are all staring at me with worry in their eyes and I can't help but feel bad. I ruined the great night we were supposed to have. Fuck.
"Krys, are you okay?" Louis asks. He's serious this time. He's not using his sarcastic voice, that I actually find very amusing. "So what movie are we going to watch?" I change the subject and stand up from where im seated. Im seated. I head over to the stack of DVD's they have on a shelf and grab some, "may I?" I ask Niall. "Sure, yeah, yeah, go ahead!" He gives me a sympathetic smile.
I ruined it with Niall too. I ruined it.
I grab a movie that has red letters across the box that says, "The conjuring". "Can we watch this one? Do you guys like horror movies?" I ask. "Yeah, we watch anything. Is Karina okay with that one?" Liam says.
"Yeah! We both love scary movies!" I say with a big smile.
As soon as I finish that sentence Karina and Harry walk through the door laughing really loud. I'm guessing they got along? Harry is carrying 5 pizza boxes that smell really good and Karina has two bags with chips.
They head straight to the kitchen to set it all down.
"I'm gonna go get plates and cups!" Niall says as he starts walking off to the kitchen. "Do you need help?" I ask. "No it's fine. I got it." I sink back into the couch. Im scared I really did ruin it. Niall notices and heads back to me, "make yourself comfortable. " and he kisses my nose and goes to the kicthen.
Im left with Zayn, Liam, and Louis. I look up at them and I can feel my cheeks getting hot again.
"He really does like you, Krys." Liam says with a warm smile.
"He does. And whatever happened in your past, he can see past that." Zayn adds.
I look at Louis and he nods his head and smiles. I smile back at them and I feel better about tonight. I guess I didn't ruin anything.
