"So Piper did you put my moisturiser in there?" My mother asks me, while I mentally slap myself for not remembering the moisturiser. "No I'll get it." I quickly grab the bottle from the dressing table and pack it in her bag.
She is going abroad for 2 weeks for her new project and she is leaving tomorrow night. So right now we are in my moms room helping her. I swear this lady needs to spend time with me or else I'll forget I have a mother figure in my life and even Dad is not here and Jace lives in his own world so basically I'm going to be alone for the next 2 weeks.

Great.

"Oh yes, I forgot to tell you." My mother turns towards me her right hand slapped on her forehead.
"Forgot to tell me what?" I grab the pack of m&ms from my moms purse.
"You know my friend Sasha. Her son is joining the London University of Arts, so he is going to drop by anytime tomorrow." She says.
"Aunt Sasha has a son? I never knew." I mean I know her she's my moms best friend since I was a kid and this son of hers was never around or never mentioned or maybe I was too occupied to pay attention.

Next day we decide to meet at Starbucks for breakfast and then head towards college together. Nikkie Hannah and I were seating at the back of the cafe. Hannah was going through her twitter her hot chocolate in her hand. "Where is Madi?" Nikkie says sipping her coffee and smiling at her phone she's been doing this awfully alot, I guess something is going on with her which she is not telling us. She is not even paying attention to the conversation and is just constantly on her phone I'll have to find out soon. "I don't know she said she'll be here in 5." I still have to order but I was waiting for Maddison to arrive but I guess I should order now or else we will be late for the lectures. "I'll get my drink" I announce and get up and the two of them nods not taking their eyes of their phone.

I'm standing in the line and waiting for my turn to come. There are at least 5 people ahead of me and who ever is on the counter is taking forever. Ugh.
I'm going through my Instagram feed and so many Halloween posts are there. I'm so excited for Halloween. We have a party at my house. This is the thing I like about me, I'm good at house parties. There is a week left for Halloween and I have so much to do and the party is open to everyone but only my somewhat friends show up obviously because others have way better parties to attend then the one I'm throwing but who gives a fuck? Guess no one.

Finally it's my turn and when I look up to give my order and my jaw is hanging open.
"Austin?" He works here? HE WORKS HERE! Why have I never seen him before, I've been to this place like gazillion times before but never saw him.
"Hey Piper" He chirps and smiles widely at me. He is so cute.
"You work here?" I ask even tho he is on counter taking orders.
"Yea I joined last week" Of course that is why I have never seen him before.
"Oh" I smile.
"So, your order?" I completely forgot that there are people standing behind me to give their order and here I'm.
"One Java Chip and One pumpkin spice latte." I order for Maddison also because by the time she comes we can't afford to wait for her stand in the line and place her order. Austin hands me my cups. "See ya around" He smiles which I return back.

"You won't believe who is on the counter taking orders" We are walking down the road to college and Maddison messaged that she will meet us there.
Told ya.
"Who?" Hannah asks.
"Austin" I practically scream.
"He left college?" Nikkie says dumbfounded.
"No you idiot he is just working there." Why would he leave college.
"You guys are meant to be." Hannah says.
Oh not this again.
"Shut up I'll see you guys after college ends."
They both have their classes in the same building so they go the opposite way "Don't blush" they shout and I show them the middle finger.

I'm walking towards the class which is taking forever and I'm on phone but suddenly my right leg is trapped in a bag strap "WHAT THE FUCK" I shout at the stranger whose bag strap nearly made me trip "OH SHIT" He shouts at the exact same moment.
"Who the hell walks like that" Wow now he is accusing me.
"What the hell were you doing with your bag that the strap got trapped in my leg" I snap.
He is wearing black sweats, black adidas sweatshirt and a black adidas cap. He also has glasses.
"Watch how you walk." And with that he's gone. 

What the fuck just happened.

Who is he to tell me how I should walk. He was the one who was blind and didn't know how to hold a fucking bag.

Douche.

While returning home I repeat the incident to my friends.
"Wow he wanted to make you fall for him." Maddison says and I want to smack her.
"Shut up, he was so rude" I want to punch that guy in the face.
"Anyways chuck it's not like you are going to see him again and if you do punch him." Hannah says, she is all in when it comes to violence.
"Did I just hear Chuck? Chuck Bass" Oh god not now.
"No Nikkie we are not talking about Gossip girl" why am I even friends with all of them.

By the time I reach home it's almost dark. I was at dance classes. I'm learning streets and when I say my body hurts like a bitch after doing the routine I mean it hurts and I just want to take a hot shower to loosen my muscles and I just want food in my system now. After the shower I change into Pokémon short shorts and a sweatshirt. My hair is wet from the shower so I leave it open and my eyes are burning because of the lack of sleep. I go downstairs to join Mom for dinner which is Chinese food.
Yummy.
"Where is Jace?" I ask while grabbing a plate for myself.
"He's gone to pick up Dylan"
"Who is Dylan?" I start piling food into my plate but mom swats my hand away. "Oww" I say.
"Wait till Jace and Dylan comes, we will have food together and Dylan is Sasha's son I was talking to you about in the morning." Oh so he's arrived and for him I have to wait for my food.
Amazing just amazing.

Mom said they'd be home in 15 minutes but it's been 20 now and I'm hungry beyond hungry and when I hear the front door open I sigh in relief.

Finally.

"That was the best kick of the show man." I hear Jace's voice through the hallway and the stranger laughs.
"Guess they are here" Mom says and shouts "In here."
When Jace and the stranger enter the dinning hall I nearly choke on my own saliva because the stranger Dylan who is 'so called' my mothers best friends son is none other than the guy I ran into the college in the morning and had a row with him because of his stupid bag.
He is looking at me with wide eyes and I'm sure I'm mimicking his reaction.
"YOU" We say in unison and Jace and mom are looking back and forth between us.
"You guys know each other?" She asks.
"No" I say
"Yes" he says
"No, I mean yes but no. We ran into each other in college today morning." I spare the details and thank god he's keeping his mouth shut.
"Oh good then, well Dylan that's my daughter Piper and Piper that is Dylan." She introduces us and I just fake smile at him and he shakes his head. I can't believe I kept my food waiting for half an hour for this idiot.
I don't make any conversation while eating Jace is on his phone as fucking always, and mom and Dylan are talking which mostly includes my mother asking him where is he staying and all that stuff and I'm so relieved when he says that he's got himself an apartment and he is not staying with us.
