Andrew's POV:
Jason was out of his mind today. I was glad we didn't have important transactions. Tyler could take care of whatever we had to do today, because Jason was in no state of mind to handle anything. Hearing the news that the girl was the Sheriff's daughter had gotten to Jason. Made him slightly paranoid.
He sat in the same spot for the third day in a row drinking whiskey. I don't even know if he had slept at all. It didn't look like it. "How are you feeling today?" I asked and placed a water bottle in front of him. He'd need it sooner or later with the alcohol completely draining his system.
"Drunk," he slurred as he stared out into the room. He looked at me out of the corner of his eyes and looked like he could barely keep himself together. Typical Jason. "What if... they find us?" His words were slurred and hard to understand, but I had handled Jason in these situations so many times before. His anger did this to him. "They won't," I said with a slight smile. I think he tried smiling back but his drunken self could barely even blink without fucking up.
I took the whiskey bottle and his glass and decided that he had had enough now. He grunted annoyed and reached out for the bottle as I took it. Like stealing candy from a child. "I wasn't done," he managed to say. "Yes you are. Better save some for other times. Drink some water." He chuckled. "Okay mom," he teased and laughed to himself. That's how I knew wasn't all that angry anymore. Just struggling with all his other problems.
"How's the girl?" I asked and looked at him as he drank some water. He looked at me with furrowed eyebrows, almost looking confused for a second. "I don't know," he shrugged and drank some more of the water.
You don't know?
"What do you mean you don't know?" I asked now feeling slightly annoyed. Not that the girl was important, but she's not a prisoner of war, there's no need to torture her. "I haven't checked on her," he said indifferently and picked up the bag of Dorito's on the table. Drunken Jason was coming to his senses.
I sighed deeply and pinched the bridge of my nose. "Fuck you're an idiot, McCann." I spat annoyed as I opened the fridge, trying to find something for the girl to eat and drink so she wouldn't die from starvation.

I knocked gently on the door before unlocking it. I hadn't seen how the room she was in looked. Only Jason had been in here.
Of course Jason had complained that I was bringing her food and water, but I told him to mind his own drunken business. Nobody answered on the other side of the door, and I felt slightly worried that she had already died. I opened the door, slightly looking inside. She laid on the mattress and looked weak. She was thin and very small. Her legs curled up to her chest. Her breath nearly non existent.
I carefully sat down on the floor in front of her and placed the bottle of water and the plate in front of her. Her eyes shifted between the plate and me. "I brought some food for you." I smiled to her, trying to be kind and maybe gain some trust from her. "Is it poisoned?" She whispered dryly.
I chuckled to myself, "no." She picked up the sandwich from the plate and took a little bite. She looked satisfied suddenly - and better after just a few bites. "I'm Andrew, by the way," I sent her an assured smile as she eagerly took a sip from the water bottle.
