The pain was just getting to be too much. All the fans wanted him to play something with Mark. He had even seen the messages of people asking Mark to play something with him. Yet, Mark never contacted him... and he didn't have the courage to ask Mark. Mark seemed to be avoiding him at all cost now. Mark didn't even make his normal irish jokes, or playfully do his intro anymore. What had he ever done to Mark that was so bad to isolate him like this? He had always said being gay was never an issue... yet, Jack felt Mark wasn't feeling that way now. Pulling his phone from his pocket for the hundredth time, he stared at Mark's number with his finger hovering over the call button. He just didn't know what he wanted to say. Would Mark even answer? Sliding down the wall just outside his recording room, he stared up at the ceiling in defeat. He wanted the cure for a heartbreak. The pain of loosing so much and feeling so empty was effecting him mentally. He couldn't even move on properly... people would question why he deleted everything having to do with Mark. He would be brought up during every live stream and every trip to Pax. Dropping his phone to the floor, Jack ran a hand through his bangs and tried to collect himself enough to finish the day, when his phone began to ring. Glancing down at it, he saw that Felix was calling him. Taking a moment to inhale his strength, he picked up the phone and answered it. He tired to sound cheery, but it came out sounding exhausted. "What do you want, you Swedish meatball"? Felix chuckled on the other end, saying a little too chirper. "Whoa, did you not drink your spiked coffee yet"? Pinching the bridge of his nose, Jack asked a little annoyed now. "Felix, just tell me what you want. I'm having a rough day". Felix asked him sincerely worried. "That's why I'm calling. Would you be interested in coming to visit me? I'd love to do some collaborated videos with you. I'm getting kind of bored lately. What do you say, potato spud? Wanna enjoy a fun week together"? Jack looked around the quiet house and let out a soft exhale, telling Felix with a bit more pep. "Sure. Why not".
Jack stood outside the airport waiting for Felix to arrive. He had a feeling Felix would be late. The damn guy had the attention span of a gnat. When Felix finally pulled up alongside the curb, he rolled down the window and playfully told him. "I had forgotten you were arriving today. Good thing you texted me". Jack rolled his eyes, moving around to get into the passenger seat. Only when he reached for the door handle, Felix jerked the car forward. Sighing loudly, Jack called back. "A little childish, don't you think"? Jack tried to reach for the door again, and again Felix rolled the car forward calling out the window. "Nope. Now get in, bitch"! Jack tried to lunge for the handle, but Felix rolled the vehicle away again yelling out happily. "Come on, bitch! Don't they have cars in Ireland"? Jack flicked Felix off with a smirk, yelling back. "Keep it up, you son of a bitch! You'll loose the last of your subscribers"! This time Jack climbed into the car, as Felix laughed out to him. "Are you saying that my subscribers will pity you"? Jack stuffed his backpack between his legs, saying cutely into the dash camera that Felix had recording. "Well, I am the cute one. People don't like seeing the cute one get bullied". Felix scoffed loudly, telling the camera. "That's not true. Everyone knows I'm the pretty one". Jack just rolled his eyes and watched as rain started to stream across the windows. After a few minutes of silence, Felix turned off the recording and asked him gently. "How have you been holding up"? Jack just shrugged. Felix suddenly patted his knee, saying comfortingly. "Well, this is going to be a fun week for both of us". Jack unbuttoned his jacket to cool down a bit, as he answered. "I can't wait".
Mark sat on the wooden floor staring out the nearby window. Felix had just posted a video showing Jack had gone out to visit him. He didn't really know why he felt hurt by this. So what if Felix was spending some time with Jack. Jack didn't belong to him. He just wished that Felix would stop being so... bold about it. It was no secret that Felix had a bit of a thing for Jack. It became obvious when Felix started following Jack on twitter just after himself. Mark told himself that he wasn't jealous. He had a girlfriend. He was straight... and yet the closer he got to Jack... the more confused he got. Jack's kiss at Pax West had been the breaking point. It had stirred feelings in him that scared him. Feelings he didn't know how to deal with. Now it was messing with his relationship with Amy. She could see something was different about him... but he refused to tell her and she was starting to become more hostile about it. How could he possibly tell her that he was possibly falling out of love with her for a man? He still loved her... but a strong attraction was growing for Jack. What made this situation worse was he could wind up loosing Jack to Felix! He stared down at his phone, pressing his lips against the back of his fingers. He wanted to call Jack and tell him to stay away from Felix... but he'd have to tell him 'why' he felt that way... and he just couldn't sort that out yet. Climbing to his feet, Mark instead called up Tyler and Mattias. He just needed to keep busy and the weird feelings would just go away. That was all there was to it! He wasn't jealous! He just didn't like the idea of Jack having fun with anyone else without him! To Be Continued...
