“So tell me again how I am the ‘White Savior’,” I asked Declan.

“It was once written in the Great Book of The Unknown, that one day when the world was too corrupt to see and too damned to be saved that The White Savior would appear out of a mist and save us all from destruction. He or she would be gifted and very powerful; they would have gone through some of the most horrid things that the world has to offer. Aurora, you have been through some of the most horrid things in the world. You have been beaten, almost killed, raped, and other things I am too ashamed to say. I am sorry for all the things that I or my pack – well your pack now – did to you.”

“Raped? I was never raped,” I said off-handedly.

“Yes you were date raped after one of the pack parties. It was me who did it and that is why I am apologizing to you now because I know that you never knew about it. Please forgive me,” he begged.

“You raped me? What the hell man? Why would you do something like that, that’s so sick?!”

“I was, I was in love…with you,” he whispered.

I was stunned, shocked, paralyzed really. How could the man that beat me every day of my life be in love with me, “How could you be in love with me when you almost killed me twice?”

“Because I didn’t know how to show it and when I found out that, that James boy was your mate I forced him to reject you so I could have you but instead of loving you properly I hurt you and ran you away from your home. I’m sorry Aurora, forgive me please.” He begged his ghostly figure was on his knees with his hands in a very prayer like gesture.

“I’ve already forgiven you for your mistakes so stop asking me to do something I’ve already done. I just want you to know that I am going to bring you back to life somehow, because you Declan are in for a beating.” I growled at him.

“Well unless one of your many powers is resurrection that will be impossible. Now stop talking to me because your family is coming,” he said before disappearing from my sight.

“Aurora, why did you run away like that?” Cameron asked.

“Because I wanted to be in the front seat,” I said shyly, it wasn’t a lie other things just came up in the process. I swear they were right behind me when I ran out, so what took them so long to get to the car. A gasp sounded from the glass doors and I turned my head to see Robert standing a foot away from the car.

“Did you, did you kill Alpha Declan?” he asked breathlessly. I didn’t notice that he was staring at the pale body of Declan Mathers.

“Y-y-yes, he found me and I almost did it but I let him go until he called me something very rude so I shifted and he was begging me for forgiveness before I killed him. And some other things happened that are not safe for me to say even if you are my family.” I stuttered in a whisper. As though telling them made something change in the atmosphere, I watched Declan’s body vaporize before my eyes.
