It was a rainy day on the drive, many small shops around but not many people to see. I had butterflies in my stomach just thinking about the school, to find new friends, hopefully not get lost, and not get in trouble on my first day. Mom was already at the house to unpack while her boyfriend drove me around town, we didnt talk much.
I stepped out of the car to a beautiful house, although when my parents were done they were out the door, mom just got a promotion to come here, but i lost everything in the move, ill miss my old house. I laid on my bed looking at the ceiling remembering all my friends, my school, my dog that my mom's boyfriend was, "deathly allergic to" but i guess a new life could be fun. I covered up and closed my eyes to sleep, and dream my night away.
The next morning i got ready for school, this place has a stupid dress code for a uniform so that kinda sucks, I still had a wiggle in my belly that made me almost fall a few times. i didn't bother with breakfast and just grabbed a bagel running out the door, and into this new town.
