Home room, the beginning of the year was here filling me with butterflies as the teacher gathered her papers and looked over to me. She was a young woman about in her twenties, a dress shirt and a short skirt, dark thick hair with glasses on the end of her nose. "ah, let me guess, your Scarlett Maddox, the new first year student." I nodded in response and walked to my seat by the window, it seemed the white coat students were well known by the green rank student. However the white coats had a strange...power radiating from them, it confused me but I tensed up feeling a power that made those feel like a tickle.

I looked at the room door to a student, but I felt like I was looking at a monster. A white coat man with a gray trench coat over the uniform and a red tie around his neck, black thick hair hanged over one of his radiating brown eyes. And as the stranger sat next to me I nearly freaked, I hid my face in my book to try not to stare while the bell rang. The teacher walked to the front and smiled with a speech.

"Good morning students! I hope you all are ready for the best year of your life, my name is Miss Pavan, and I can't wait to meet you all. As some of you know, this school has a rule that all white rank students will have a green rank partner, so by the end of the day please try and get to know them and make it much easier for us. But I wont bore you all when it seems there are very few white coats here. And finally, in all your desks are rule books, please feel free to read them and remember, have fun!"

I didn't bother to read it as I kept looking around at the white coats around me, only about 5-8 of them were in my class with the stranger next to me that left me feeling ill. On the side of his desk was 'Adam V. Ripps' but the last name alone kept me at bay with the number 462 on the side of his neck. The other white coats in my room were a jock, a boy playing with a lighter, an overly dramatic girl with too much make up, and a few others with not many distinctive features. All I could think of was Adam, the demon in human clothes.
