As Time Goes By(Riren)

Chapter one: Friends don't let friends divide by zero.

"Eren! Wake up!"

Eren shot up in his bed, looking through out the room for the disturbance.  His eyes rested on his phone which was across the room, still on FaceTime showing a blonde bowl of hair. "What the heck Armin! Let me sleeeeeeeeep!"

He threw the pillow on top of his face and fell back groaning into it.

"Eren, seriously. Our classes start in an hour and you said we'd meet up to walk together, so come on!"
Eren stood up and stretched. "When do classes end?" The blonde was also doing something in his room at the moment, changing just like Eren was.
"Um, till five? I mean, we did take all of those extra classes...."
Eren was studying to be an FBI agent while Armin wanted to be a writer or some sort of explorer. Eren groaned again as he brushed his teeth, it was six in the morning, and he still had work to do.
"I blame my sickness on the king and his evil kids."
By now everyone knew that the King's kids hated everyone. Armin laughed, tapping the screen, indicating the time.
Eren shook his head and nodded, grabbing his bag and phone and raced out the door. Once reaching Armin's house, he relaxed. There was Armin, in all his glory rushing down the stairs of his apartment. Eren laughed and they started walking towards the school.
"How is it the twins fault that your sick, anyway your not even sick, or are you?"

Eren shook his head but he was feeling tired.  " I don't know, it's just, you know they hate everyone so they probably want to ruin my life by making me sick?" Armin erupted with laughter holding his stomach as they kept walking. " Yeah, yeah. It sounds silly now that I think of it."
"Silly? More like stupid."
"Armin!"
"Sorry, sorry it slipped out."
"I never thought the harmless coconut could be so mean!" Armin's laughter slowly died into a giggle and they talked trash about the twins and the King until they got to school where they separated. Armin had ran to his boyfriend, Erwin, and kissed him, making Eren walk away silently.

The classes whizzed by and Eren was confident that he had passed the test that was given on psychiatry.  Eren and Armin didn't see each other during lunch so Eren sat alone and studied a bit. In the last class, Armin texted him.

To Eren:
I won't be @ the entrance, Erwin is taking me out, sorry. >^<. 

To Coconut:
No problem, I have work after anyway, have fun on your date!

To Eren :
Thx!!! 😊

"Yeager why is your phone out?"
Eren stuffed the phone in his backpack.

"Sorry sir, won't happen again!"

"I told you this the first time, get it fucking right you idiot!" The maid nodded and scurried off fresh tears in her eyes. The boy glared at her retreating figure and then glared at the floor.
"Why are they so stupid!"
Levi stood straight and walked into his room, going straight to his desk to work on his assignment from his personal teacher. There was a knock at the door.
"What."
His voice was filled with venom.
"It's me, Mikasa."
He sighed and she opened the door.
" A maid ran off crying, what'd she do wrong?"
Levi stood and walked to a tank.
" Couldn't fucking iron clothes correctly, the idiot."
Mikasa scoffed.
"Same here."
Levi opened the lid to the tank and stuck his arm in, a snake slowly started to wrap around his arm, and then his neck. Mikasa raised a brow as he began to pet it. She walked over and stuck her arm in also, the second and last snake, was huge. It wrapped around her arm several times, making others think she had no arm, and she too began to pet the snake.
The snakes were special. They were venomous and hostile with others, but with the twins they were calm. Almost like they bonded on the sadistic style of each other.
" I threatened my maid by telling her if she can't get it right, then she should just let the snake eat her."
Levi chuckled as the snakes hissed in agreement.
" Now, you've already been fed, don't make this harder on us. We can't just give you that meal, you'll surely die of her disease of stupidity."

Mikasa laughed and placed the snake inside the tank, Levi following soon after. They sat together discussing whatever came to mind when the door opened. They looked at one another, no one did that except their father.

" Why were there two terrified and crying maids running down the hall?"

"They didn't do their job right Dad, so we yelled at them."
The King gripped his temple, nodding his head in agreement. This had also happened a week before, and the last week and so on. To put it simply, he was sick of it.
"Well, now you pay the price."
The twins turned.
" You'll both attend a normal college, with subjects that will be treated kindly" the King emphasized on the word kindly knowing his kids to be rude and unpleasant to their subjects. Now he was fed up with all the times the children have abused their power over others.
"Mikasa, you're studying writing sense you lack in it."
She gapped at her Father.
" Levi you'll be studying for an FBI agent since you seem to think that yelling and threatening others is a form of justice. And you'll both start tomorrow."

He glared and stood tall. The twins rose, saying in unison
"Father surely-"

"What I said is final."
He slammed the door and left the two inside.
" Well shit, I forgot our father doesn't play nice."
Levi nodded.
" Tch. A disgusting public college, so many germs."
Mikasa nodded and walked back towards the tank and stood in front of it smiling.
"Hey, brother"
"Hmm?"
He turned his head to his sister holding the big snake.
"Want to bring a sweet, innocent pet to show and tell?"
He smirked and stood.
"Why of course sister, I'd love to."
