As Time Goes By(Riren)

Chapter Three

After the events in that class everything went smoothly. Eren casually exited his last class and met up with Armin.
"Hey Armin!"
Armin turned around smiling and waved. They both left the building together, talking about their classes and how rude one of Armin's teacher was.
"I'm not even kidding Eren! She stood on a desk and yelled at the whole classroom! A lot of people were making jokes about how she was on her period, which I found extremely rude."
Eren nodded, though he did find it kind of funny, he wanted to be nice.
"Oh and when she heard the joke , she wasn't amused, she sent all of them to the office and they now have detentions and referrals."
Eren shook his head in disappointment.
"Well that's what they get."
Armin nodded.
Once they reached Armin's apartment their conversations stopped. They both sat in the living room and worked quietly on their work, talking occasionally about certain questions they had problems with.

After they finished, Eren went into the kitchen to make tea. "Oh! Yeah Eren!"
Eren walked back in, balancing the tea cups on the tray.
"What?"
Armin took his cup and blew softly on it. "Remember the King's twins? Well Mikasa was in my class and guess what she did?"
Eren thought back to the twins and remembered the girl with the bored expression and plaid shirt. Every boy wanted her, well straight boys that is, and every girl wanted to be her.
" She's the one Jean has the hots for right?"
Armin nodded frantically, eager to tell the story. Although Eren didn't know Armin's friends, Armin did talk about them frequently so he learned bit by bit about them.
"She released two huge spiders in our classroom. I didn't see them but everyone was screaming about huge spiders! And she took full responsibilty! Saying it was a gift from the King's twins and that she hoped we loved them! How crazy is that?!"

Eren laughed at his friends look of bewilderment. "Well, I'm not surprised, I mean she does hate us and everything. Come to think of it..."

Eren trailed off as he remembered the strange, tall, raven haired man who released the snakes. Eren's eyes widened.
"Armin, Levi Ackerman is in all my classes."
Eren turned to Armin who had a look of disbelief. Eren started to bang his head on the table.

"I should've known from the way everyone was gasping and fawning over him!" Armin finally regained his senses looking at his friend with frustrated eyes. Although he wanted to comfort him, he couldn't resist saying-
"How could you not recognize him Eren! You are usually a really good observer what happened!!"

Eren groaned and hit his head one more time before leaning back onto the couch, sighing and pulling at his hair.
"I don't know! I don't know! I was just really focused on my work and didn't want to think about, you know anything since it was due by the end of class Armin!"
Armin nodded in understanding at that.
"So when a person walked in and people reacted rather loudly I thought it might've been a friend who transferred, not the fricking twin of Mikasa!" Eren's hands were pulled from his scalp by the blonde who sighed quietly. They both looked into each other's eyes.
"Alright Eren, so tell me. Every. Detail." Eren nodded.
"So I finished my work and turned it in. When I sat back down, I was debating whether to text you or not, you know like usual." Armin nodded.
"Well, then I felt this thing start wrapping around my arm and something similar, but larger on my leg. It was a snake Armin, two big ones, though the one around my leg was larger. You gotta understand I thought I was going to be killed! But then they rubbed my neck and I thought that was cute and was like "Awww"
Armin raised and eyebrow and Eren started shaking hands in the air.
"Yeah I know it's weird but it's been awhile since we got to have or see pets and they were nice and obedient. But then he came and he told or more like demanded the snakes to return to him, they were hissing and I thought I was, once again, going to die! So I stayed still as they unraveled off me to him. Then all hell broke lose."
Armin leans in, although he flinched away at the thought of snakes wrapping around his friend, rather large ones at that. Eren was motioning with his hands everywhere, almost like he was painting a picture with the story.

" All the girls came over after he was like "Didn't mean to cause trouble" well you did thanks!" Armin giggled as Eren mimicked the man's dark and low voice, even furrowing his brows together.
"So then all these girls rushed over as I stared at him and he stares , but once they arrive I'm gone, and running out. All I thought was creepy guy is not someone to be associated with!"
Eren ended panting and Armin clapped lightly, making Eren laugh. "You see?"

Armin nodded and they laughed together. They sat and watched TV afterwards until Eren told Armin he had to work, Armin sighed  and complained but let him go anyway, continuing to watch real housewives or whatever. They weren't real housewives, Eren thought. If they had a TV show? No.

Eren quickly went home and changed into his attire. A medical shirt and lose pants with the white jacket and a few pens and notes. He only had a few patients to see, but they were the ones with the worse cases that nobody wanted to deal with. Eren sighed and walked out, all he wanted tonight was to make his patients smile and be happy.

"The spiders were a hit, everyone was freaking out brother" Mikasa laughed at the mere thought of the girls screaming. "Don't worry I have them with me, nobody took yours or mine." She decided to say after. She glanced at the tall man beside her and nudged his arm. He turned to her and nodded, looking back out to speak. The two were waiting for a car to come.
"The snakes also did a number on the students except for one."
The car came and they both got in, Mikasa urging him to go on.
"The snakes liked him, and I didn't tell them to go to him at all. But he was the only one not paying attention and I guess they got tired of hearing the screams of girls and the grabbing of the   boys, so they went to the quiet one I guess."
Mikasa stared, not quite understanding the situation her brother was in.
"I'm sorry, you'll have to be a bit more specific brother."
Levi's eyes widened slightly, it wasn't like him to beat around the bush.
" Sorry it seems the matter had me so mixed up that I've acted strangely." Mikasa nodded in understanding.

" The snakes wrapped around him, one on the leg and arm, and I thought they might've wanted to bite him for the rude behavior of ignoring them. But they just stayed near his neck and he petted them. He pet my snakes with his filthy, don't know where they been   hands. But they encouraged it and then a girl screamed and a boy went to also touch my snakes and he still had food crumbs on his hands, so I stood up and took the snakes back.

After I did so, all these obnoxious idiots came up to me screaming and trying to touch me how disgusting."
Mikasa didn't hold back her obvious hatred for the people who did so to her brother. "All of the citizens are disgusting."
Levi nodded in agreement.
"Right as I was going to question him he left, ran out of the class and building I believe. I asked others about him, but none knew him well, even his name."
Mikasa nodded and looked down in thought.
"The snakes didn't attack him?"
Levi shook his head.
"They shouldn't have, I trained them not to, but still. The fact they didn't hurt the kid is weird."
Mikasa nodded and the car came to a stop. They both got out and went straight to the stairs, both going opposite directions after getting to the top but Levi stopped as Mikasa called him. "I'll try to get information on him, you do too."
Levi nodded and turned around, heading into his room and locking his door. Not bothering to do the too easy homework assigned deciding he'd fail so he could come back home instead of with those dirty bastards.
