As Time Goes By(Riren)

Chapter Two: Surprises are not always the best.

The next day arrived quickly. Too quickly for Eren actually.
After college he went straight to the bar he worked at. On Mondays, Wednesdays and Friday's he worked late at the bar. On Tuesday's, Thursday's , Saturdays and Sunday's he worked part time at a local hospital.
Before college he took courses in the medical field so he could have a job that he could rely on to pay for school. And while nursing payed for school, the bar payed for living expenses.
The night before he had to work later shifts since someone didn't come in. His boss gave him the extra money for it and he got double the tips. But when he came home it was around three am. He had to get up at six for Armin and school.
Though, it turned out Armin was at Erwin's, doing what? He didn't know, nor did he want to know. Out of the two, they both agreed Eren would most likely lose his virginity first. But fate turned out that Eren had too many responsibilities and no free time, while Armin had all the free time,due to his grandfather's support and money. So he had to hang out with others rather than Eren when Eren went out to work. And that's how he met Erwin Smith.
Eren wasn't upset, nor mad about it but he was a little jealous. Armin was his only friend, and he had to give that up? They only had, like, two classes together, and they weren't even seated next to each other. But also, Eren wouldn't mind being held and loved in someone's big, strong arms. But Eren didn't have time for those thoughts, to many things that need to be done. No time for love and romance, and it's not like others go out of their way to talk to Eren at college, though he never engages in any conversations either. Too much work to get done.

Eren shook his head and got dressed. He took a quit shower, putting on some lotion afterwards because he thought it smelled nice. Sue me.

He grabbed his bag and left the apartment.

"Leave, now."
The twins glared and Mikasa could hear the snakes hissing in protest at the rough movements.
"Bye Dad." They said. Not looking back at the disapproving look on their Dad's face.

"Do you have them?"
Levi glanced at his sister, smirking.
"Yeah I do." The snakes hissed together, wanting to be acknowledged from where they hid in Levi's bag. Because of Levi's tall height, he was given a bigger book bag, and that held the big tank fine.

"Good, I brought my spider and yours too, sorry one just didn't seem to kill it."
She said it with such a monotone voice that anyone would have missed the sincere drop in her voice. Levi nodded and told her it was fine and to hurry up.
She laughed and walked quicker alongside Levi. Once they reached the school they grinned at one another, and parted ways to the different buildings.

Eren sat in his class, writing notes from the board. Once the bell rang many others crashed into the room, most whispering and the girls all giggling at some sort of joke maybe? He didn't care. Just let me get my work done.
Eren' s POV
The teacher spoke of recent solved classified cases and how we will be given clues and evidence to find out the murderer. We were aloud to work in groups with the equipment, but I worked alone. They all were laughing and talking anyway, not working.

The door opened and the teacher and students hushed. I didn't look up, still pondering on who committed the act. The principle most likely came in to watch. After awhile people began to talk again. But then a girl shrieked.

"A snake!!!!"

All the girls freaked out and stood on the desks, while boys tried to find the snake and look cool in front of the girls. The teacher was to engaged in her computer and didn't believe the ruckus going on. I mean really, there are no snakes in this area.

But I had finished my work, so I walked passed the screaming and turned it in. The teacher checked it, saying I got the right culprit, but some of my evidence seemed far fetch. He asked me to remember to focus on realistic thinking that the public would agree with. I nodded and sat back down, debating whether to text Armin. Suddenly, I felt this soft object wrapping around one of my legs.

I froze.

The girls still shrieked, not aware that it, was over here. Oh my goodness, no no no. Suddenly I saw another, smaller slithering on the desk. I mean, I don't hate snakes or are scared of them but when they are teaming up
On you? I have the right to gasp out.

The smaller one began to wrap around my neck and arm, while the other wrapped up my body, causing me to shiver at the mere feeling. They stayed , hissing and rubbing my neck while I thought I was going to die. But I eventually went to pet the twos head. They hissed lightly and rubbed my neck again causing me to giggle. These things are harmless.

"There it is! It's choking him!"
I looked up to see the same girl who screamed first, pointing frantically at me. A scrawny boy leaped over, I'm guessing to 'save the day', the snakes both snapped there fangs and hissed at him.

My hands shot towards my sides, instantly scared at the hostile behavior they were showing. The teacher stood, shocked and went to the door, I'm guessing to call someone, when a tall man stood up and stopped him. He looked over at me and everyone stared. Was he new to class?
He walked toward me while the snakes brushed their heads against my face. He stared into my eyes and I squinted at him.

"Who are you?"

He raised a brow and pointed to the snakes. They hissed in protest. "Those are mine, didn't mean to bring any trouble."
He snapped his fingers and they hissed. They licked my face with their long thin and slimy tongues, making me flinch, and began to unravel me from the full body suit they had.
"So they're trained" I acknowledged .
He nodded, and I watch as the smaller slowly unraveled from my arm. He snapped again and they hissed, going a bit faster. I flinched as the big ones tale slapped harshly against my crotch as it hissed, trying to ignore the feeling of it's tale slowly unraveling from my waist and inner thigh.
Thank god I'm wearing jeans.

Once they were in his hands the bell rung and all the girls rushed to him, complimenting him on his bravery and smarts. I quickly grabbed my bag and began to run out of the room, not bothering to speak to the man. He looked like a creepy person to be associated with, and I don't need a new friend. Also:
Who keeps two scary big snakes, releases them in a classroom, laughing in the corner at the shrieks from the girls, and allows them to wrap tightly around a stranger?
