I woke up with a message from Devan. D: good morning beautiful 💚 Me: good morning 💙 D: a bluebird told me you will have a surprise tonight Me: ooouhh I'm super excited! D: hahaha I love you💗 Me: love you 2!!!!!!💜
I called Chloe. "Hey!!" I said "Hii!!" "Are you okay with Nate?" "Yeah, I want him to ask me out but still, he didn't." "Oooh, I see. Okay, I hope he does!" "Haha thanks" "Oh, today I am going out with Devan!" "Awww you two are so cute! Where are you going?" "Santa Monica Pier" "Oooh, I love that place!" "Me too!" "Maybe he will buy you a teddy bear like in the movies" "Ohh yeah, he said he had a surprise. Almost this." "Oh my gosh! I know what will happen, but I won't tell you!" "Oh, okay, I like surprises" "Haha yeah, I need to go now" "Okay bye!" "Bye!!"
I ate breakfast and did my homework. It was 3 pm so I showered. I was wearing this:

After 50 minutes Devan was at the door. He was wearing: (and black jeans)

"Hey. I know you always are but you look incredible." Devan said "Thanks! You too!" I said hugging him. "Well, it's a long walk now!" "Yeah!"
We walked to the beach beside the pier. We went directly to a stand where we were supposed to shoot the aims and the prizes were stuffed animals. "I'm gonna win that teddy bear for ya," Devan said "Okay! Good luck then!" I answered He shot all the aims in the center and got the bear for me. "I told ya," he said "Yeah, you did! Thanks!" I giggled and hugged him "Let's go to the Ferris wheel!" Devan said "Okay"
At the Ferris wheel "This is the most beautiful view I've seen today," Devan said "I know right? This is so nice!" I responded "Yeah, 'cause you are the only thing that I see" I blushed and giggled a little.
When we left we decided to go to the beach that was right next to the pier.
6pm "I love you so much," Devan said looking straight into my eyes. "I love you too Devan," I said A strong cold wind passed by us. "It's a bit cold," I said "Here" Devan took off his coat and covered me with it and put his arm around me. "Hey, remembered you had a surprise from that blue bird?" he asked "Yeah" He stood up, then I did the same. He took a little box from his pocket and inside there was a beautiful ring. "Would you be my girlfriend?" I giant feeling of happiness came inside me and I said: "YES!" And hugged him so hard that he almost lost his breath. We were looking into each other's eyes and we were super close when our lips finally met.

We walked back to my house and Devan left.

Everything I was thinking about was that today was the most incredible day of my life.
