The Truth[NaLu]

Natsu's POV

Lucy came to the guild moping today. She sat at the bar and talked to Mira and I swear I saw Lucy cry. Mira's eyes widened and she snapped Lucy's wrist up. She stared at Lucy's wrist and dragged Lucy to the back of the guild.

I stood up to eavesdrop on them. I only needed to sit at the bar to eavesdrop on them.

"Lucy... why are they there?" Mira stated angry, there was no reply. I heard a slap in the room. Silence still fell. I heard Mira's cries soon and then I heard the rustle of Lucy's clothes and Mira's clothes too. They must be hugging. The smell of tears and blood was on the room. I rushed behind the bar and slammed the door open. Lucy was sitting on a seat being hugged my Mira. Lucy had a red cheek and bandages around her wrists.

Lucy whispered something into Mira's ears and I couldn't hear anything though. Mira looked at her shocked and let let an apologetic smile appear.

She stood up slowly and let a tear fall from her eye.

"Lucy, stay here and don't do anything stupid. There's a bed if you want to go to sleep."

Lucy looked at Mira and nodded.

"Thank you..." Lucy voice was cracking and weak. Luce...

Mira went to close the door pushing me out but Lucy quickly jumped off the chair and hugged Mira.

"Thank you Mira!" Lucy wailed out silently and tears fell from her eyes. I saw her knees fall out and she fell forward. I reacted fast. I quickly jumped infront of Lucy and caught her in my arms. She used me as a support and pulled herself up to wrap her arms around my neck. She rested her head on my shoulder.

"Natsu... thank you as well... always supporting me..." Mira looked at me guiltily.

Lucy waddled off from us weakly and sat on the bed. Mira closed the door and dragged me up the stairs to the second floor.

"Natsu, Lucy is depressed... because of... your little... protective threats... should we say..."

"What do you- oh- you mean how I told every guy we fraught that if they compliment Lucy I'll burn them into ashes?"

"Yes... it got to her... She thinks she's ugly and needs to loose weight. For a few weeks she hasn't eaten anything and she's basically reshaped her whole body, she wears tight clothing under all that loose clothing... She even started wanting to die... Natsu tell her!" Mira pushed herself against me and sobbed.

"Natsu... tell her she's beautiful and tell her the truth! PLEASE!"

"FINE! IF SHE HATES ME THOUGH I BLAME YOU!" I yelled as I glared at her. Lucy, don't hate me for doing this... please don't!

I barged into Lucy's room scaring her and hugging her tightly. I wrapped my arms around her tightly and pushed my body down on hers. She was on the bed with me hugging her. I lifted my head up from her neck and stared at her. I sat up still hugging Lucy. I let go of her and stood next to her bed, Lucy was sitting up still. I sat behind her and picked Lucy up, I placed her in between my legs and pushed her against my chest.

"Lucy, I'm sorry, I'm sorry. You'll hate me for doing this... the thing I did, I did it because I didn't want you to fall for anyone else. I said I'll be the only one to complement you, only one you need. What I did was wrong, I see that now. I, I threatened every guy we ever fought or ever saw that if they came close to you or complimented you that I would burn them to ashes. The first mission we went on I sent that duke a letter telling him and all his maids to call you ugly or I'd burn them to ashes. Whenever I fought guys before the group I threatened them. I even threatened Happy a bit. I threatened every guy, every spirit, every guild member, every enemy, every friend and I even threatened all your friends too. I am jealous that you will love someone else more than me so, I did what I did so you would stay with me. You are so, so beautiful that every guy wants you, every guy! I l-"

"Natsu, you, you did all that, for me. Natsu, do you really like making me look sad? Do I look better defenceless and depressed? Or is it you though of making me depressed so I would change an no-one would ask me out."

I heard her statement so I hoped off the bed and ran away. As I got to the guild doors I turned and saw Gray give me a smirk saying 'I win' as he entered Lucy's room. I growled and charged to the door but it was slammed and locked.

I punched the door an punched it. Until I gave up.

"Gray?... What are yo- mmmm"

What!?! I punched the door with all my anger and barged in to the room. Geay stood next to Lucy's bed with his lips on hers forcefully. Her eyes still open and wide. I ran away from them quickly.

No Luce... WHY?

I stood at the doors... maybe I should quit the guild?
