LUCY'S POV

I screamed his name with my hand outstretched towards his. My tears flowing already.

I found myself sprinting towards the edge of the cliff and diving down to get to him. I could get him yet.

"NATSU!!!!"

My hand reached out further than it should and soon I touched his fingertips. I stretched my arm more and soon I felt his hand. I clasped my hand on his and pulled myself to him. His eyes were closed but the tears were falling out. I pulled him into my chest and hugged him tightly.

I would be his shield for the impact.

"Natsu, I LOVE YOU TOO!" I screamed seconds before my body collided with the hard water that was so painful. I felt his eyes widen, heart race and breath stop. I smiled so happily. He knew. Now it's time for me to go away.

I felt my body give in to the pain and I closed my eyes.

I told you Natsu, I would never run away by myself... It's always more fun when we're together. I wrapped my hand tighter around his, his finger tips pressed against my hand and I have his hand a little squeeze. This will be the last time I touch him...

I smiled as the darkness surrounded me and the oxygen left my mouth.

Sorry we couldn't live happily ever after.
