🌙

dallon lay on his back, tucked up in his warm bed, wide awake. he never usually found it easy to sleep. unless- that is- unless he's got is favourite person beside him. he lay there thinking to himself, in pure silence, right hand tugging onto the white bedsheet a little.
he didn't really know what he was thinking about, but he knew he'd have to fall asleep somehow soon, as he had meetings back to back all day tomorrow.

he sighs to himself. he didn't really like meetings. everyone was just so serious. dallon did know that with the amount of money they were trying to deal with they had to be serious; but it didn't stop him from almost falling asleep.
he'd brought this upon himself. if he didn't start his own technology company... lead designing computers, phones, televisions, making billions of dollars and being the beginning of it all... he wouldn't have to do this. but he wasn't ungrateful.

he sighs, rubbing his eyes, getting comfortable.

brendon must be busy watching tv. which was fine, dallon decided he didn't want to boss his little around every night, sometimes it was better to just have some alone time where he could do what he wanted and be responsible for his own actions.

although, just as he was falling asleep, he was awoken by a switch, the room lighting up. he groans. "i-it's not m-morning already, is it?" he was confused, looking around. he was wrong. it was still dark outside, and he sees brendon standing in the doorway, a long white shirt and long black pyjama bottoms, smiling. he looked so cute.

dallon smiles back.

"a-are you okay, dal?" the youngest asks, switching off the light and walking over, getting into bed next to the other. he snuggles in, dallon wrapping his arms around him, he couldn't stop grinning as they share warmth.

"mhm. y-yeah. busy day t-tomorrow. i'll be o-okay." he admits, yes, he was slightly nervous.
dallon wasn't the most outgoing person in the world. he was shy (not particularly anxious), he found it hard to speak. that's why he had his little working with him... brendon argued for him, and he did it very well.

it was an odd system.
dallon was the quietest of the two, which was funny, considering he was the very dominant one. no one would've expected it. you rarely heard his voice, but when he was speaking to brendon in private it would send shivers up your spine.

"don't worry. you'll be okay. just tell me whatcha think and i'll do it for you. after all, that's what i'm payed to do, right?" dallon raises his eyebrow, nodding.

"y-yeah. i'm still kinda nervous, though." it goes quite again, and he kisses brendon on the cheek. "i'll have to reward you."

brendons breath shakes, and he grips tightly onto dallons arm that was wrapped around him.

"s-sounds cool. c-can't wait."
