dallon was overwhelmed, the amount of news reporters trying to get interviews and hundreds of flashes surrounding him.

he had twenty minutes to answer all of their questions, try not to look stupid in front of paparazzi and to say something inspirational for everyone to love him.

"dallon weekes!" the first interviewer says, dallons heart racing at all the flashing lights around him and what seemed like a million voices and once. he tries to speak into his microphone, but no words would escape his mouth. he knew he looked ridiculous on live tv just standing there with his mouth open, trying to form words, but only quiet whispers would escape his lips.

his boyfriend, brendon, finally approaches, their hands brushing together, dallon frowning. he was just way too timorous, he hated how he had to get his own boyfriend to do everything for him.

brendon smiles at the interviewers, leaning over to the microphone. dallon steps away a little.

"hello ladies, gentlemen, and everyone else. i suppose you've all got questions about our new proposals this winter."
he was so confident sounding.

the sound of interviewers were dying down, giving brendon the chance to finally find some sense.

by now dallon was incredibly embarrassed, he always was in situations like this. brendon always said that he really really doesn't mind speaking in front of the public, as long as he knows what he's saying and he's getting payed for it he really doesn't mind, but sometimes dallon had his doubts.

why did he have to be born a genius but not born with the skill to take enough credit for it? it just made him look the opposite, sometimes. he left pathetic.

he leaves the small stage, walking into a room segregated to the mess that was outside, now he was surrounded by people he knew and felt more relaxed around. he sighs, taking his bottle of water which he left on one of the portable tables the staff used to put their food and drink on.

"hey, dal?" dallon looks up to see one of his best friends, tyler joseph.

"y-yeah?"

"aren't you meant to be doing the announcements?" he looked confused "it started like five minutes ago."

dallon shakes his head, sighing. "i-i can't do it." he doesn't make eye contact, tyler leaning in so he can understand his words more clearly.

"oh, right. ok. is brendon out there?"
he only nods.
"one more thing. can i ask you a question?"

the tallest agrees, raising an eyebrow.

"are you and brendon... you know... a thing?" dallon pauses, snorting, then shakes his head.

"n-no. we're best friends and enjoy each other's company. that's it. we live together because... w-well that's what some people do, right?"
he lies. they'd actually been dating around six months, and it had been two weeks since dallon had found out about brendons little space. he was still adjusting, but almost completely used to it.

tyler scoffs. "you're both multi millionaires. why in the world would you be housemates at the age of like 30, with millions of dollars each?"

the oldest rolls his eyes, not saying anything.

"i-i don't know." he forces a giggle.
